I loved those kids cars, I had a 1960's peddle Batman car, I still remember to this day the sore ass I used to get due to it's rough ride as it had solid rubber tyres.
You know, I remember that as well! As kids, one of my neighbors had a little metal fire engine with a wooden seat (same tires) we'd pedal in for hours! Only wish there'd been more at the show!
If anyone knows what make goes with which car, feel free to write them here-- while I love these old girls, I really don't know a whole lot about identifying the exact years and models. Thanks all!!
@CoffeeKvetch here are a few, though admittedly easier ones to identify, some of the others (especially from the 40's) are a lot tougher, for me anyways
The Holdens are there-- but really, there weren't many Australian cars... I've got a 'Part II' that should be up later on this evening... you might spy a few more then!
Great video, Thanks for Sharing. We recently had our big car show here in Lake George and I went but forgot my camera! UGH! These were great cars! My son-in-law has a 58 Cadilac & a very old Chevy Impala. All redone I just forget the year of it I believe 70's. Car shows are fun!
My favorite car is and was the 57 chevy! I had 2 and sold them at a time when I needed money LOL WHY ELSE would you sell those cars??? LOL Yes I regret it!
OMG! I guess that's punishment enough, huh? Yep, I'm a really sucker for those from the '50s too... I really wanted to film some of the interiors, but most of the windows were up (it was a little windy, and I don't blame any of the owners for wanting to keep those machines pristine!
Is this an annual event? We have the "wintersun" up here on the Gold coast this weekend. I have a few videos of that but cannot make it this time.
Good commentary, try to interview some of the owners b4 hand to get the make and model. Thanks.

Aren't they great? We came upon the show completely by accident... took a zillion photos and had to snag a little footage for all the YouTubers!
