This particular version of the "Top Five of All Time", CLASSIC musical ,'The Music Man' should be locked away and NEVER viewed again. It's just plain horrid, In my opinion ( and the opinions of MANY others). Or maybe kept around and simply seen as an example of POOR casting, staging, acing, etc.
watch the video in my channel. it will direct you to a website where you will be able to watch the full 1962 version of music man. IT WORKS I PROMISE.
Yes, they did. Which is nice. It's in the play. I was being negative that day, but I won't boter to post my complaints. Basically they see her dancing with the professor and she absolutely glows (they've probably never seen her smile before). Also it turns out that Harold has had them read the books that they were appalled at her for advocating, and now they love them. Basically, the professor has turned her "outcast" status around, and she's accepted now.
@magnolia9042 This is nearly exact to the script though. even the lines. Sure there are a few alterations here and there but for the most part they are the same.
@WickedxWitchx1313 I have the script seeing as I play zaneeta. This is not nearly exact. they cut a lot of things, and re-order things that shouldn't have been changed.
"By the time your band plays its first concert, the individual members will have to forgather in wheelchairs on account of the broken legs they'll get from tripping over their beards!" hahahaaa, nice.
For some reason, the gym reminds me of a Pokemon Stadium... anyway, we're doing this show in May, but we haven't cast it yet. I just hope I'm one of the quartet members...
It's waaay easier to see the good that Harold is doing in this version. In the old one it just looks like he's going around spouting lies left and right and he gets rewarded for it in the end. All the emotions are done way better, too!
@WeeKid1675 I think that was actually the point of the original. He IS a con man. He's extremely charismatic and gets on everyone's good side, but he's a con man. But then he starts falling for Marian and starts trying to turn things around but it's too late. In the end he confesses everything and starts telling the truth because he wants to give up his conning. He's not a good character. Any good that comes from his being there is completely coincidental up until the end.
I love that you can see she's clearly falling in love with him, especially since she knows just what he's up to and doesn't care anymore. It's just so romantic, in a sense.
this is probably a stupid question, but that's really kristin playing the piano, right? gosh is there anything she's not good at?! haha! i love her so much!
