one use periods that was a mess. Two Verizon doesn't lie they put where they get service weather conditions and certain electronic devices have a negative effect on cell phone signals. Three edge may seem fast to you but it really isn't it is very slow AT&T has a failing network which is getting worse as the years go on and have done nothing to improve it Verizon will be releasing 4G BEFORE the end of this year AT&T has failed to get a decent amount of 3G coverage.

Lol, that ad is hilarious! I'm an iphone owner though, and I never even use 3G. I get Edge pretty much everywhere, and because there are so many apps now, I barely ever even need to go on the internet. Edge is easily fast enough when you are in an app and don't have to load full web pages (I don't even really mind using it for the web). Plus the main reason you have a phone is to call people. Just because you don't have 3G reception doesn't mean you're not going to be able to get calls XD

For those who had bad experience with AT&T won't get an iPhone with AT&T. Those people would get one if it were with a carrier other than AT&T. It has been hacked to work on other GSM carriers, but for T-Mobile USA users, they're out of luck for the 3G iPhone until one is made with 3G in the AWS band.

With the prospect of Verizon and iPhone kissin' in a tree next year, AT&T should be more concerned than they seem to be, based on service. AT&T has just as much coverage of Verizon. The map is FALSE ADVERTISING BY VERIZON, and they are being SUED by ATT over it.

My reception is 100% perfect 98% percent of the time. There is just a spot in my house it wont work, and in the underground NOC I work in.

2. The HP netbooks run for about 6.25 hours (6 cell batteries).

As for everyone else, at&t has spent ALOT of money on their network. Who knows how much lobbying Verizon's done to get some kick back favours, and make things more expensive for their rivals.

They have already started the suit, but AT&T is alleging not that there is a problem with the 3G maps. They are claiming it is misleading because people might think AT&T doesn't have coverage in the white areas.

Yet the gist of the Verizon Wireless ads is pretty clear - it is 3G coverage they are referring to & a direct counter to AT&T's claim of being the nation's largest 3G carrier. If there is fraudulent advertising, I think it is from AT&T.

They're claiming it's confusing to the consumer. Truth is, all of VZW's network is 3G, while most of ATT's network is 2G, or EDGE. The map only shows ATT's 3G coverage - not their EDGE coverage. ATT is claiming that that is misleading. Truth is though, it says "3G coverage" in the video. They are indeed comparing apples to Apples, pun totally intended.
