Don't Believe everything the media tells you. Go to Wal MArt and ask the manager where they get the salon products from. He'll tell you - a company that gets it from the manufacturer! This news tape is pure garbage!
Products are in the stores, they have been for years. This is nothing new. The products are placed in the stores like Wal-Mart and CVS because the product distributors are the ones selling it to them. PERIOD! I've done my homework on this matter, and I'm here to tell you, the product companies want the best of both worlds. Don't be fooled! If you were Loreal and Wal Mart wanted to sell your entire line in all their stores, what would you do? Business owners think about it!
Obviously, You haven't done your homework because you've contradicted yourself. You say distributors are the ones selling the products to places they shouldn't be, then turn around and say that manufacturers like L'oreal are selling them. Some of those products in the stores don't even come from the distributors more or less the manufacturer. They have factories in Asia that produce similar packaging and fill them with random concoctions and sell them as the real thing.
If you knew anything you would know that most of the manufacturers are cracking down on the distributors or independent stylists who are selling mass products to these stores. As for the remaining products, it's pretty difficult to trace a product with no batch code. You think about it!
Go to Wal MArt and check the bottoms of the containers - the batch codes are still there! I've been in the business for over 25 years! Ask the managers of these stores where they get their products from. I did. They'll be happy to tell you. Don't believe everything you see on the news.
@4manzy They still have batch codes because Albertsons was sued by Back to Basics in 2006 for scraping off a serial number that tells you what salon company they sold it to. Believe me, every time I go to Walmart or Target, all I see are outdated packaging of diverted products. I also worked for Paul Mitchell, I would say a good 50% of what I see in Walmart is obviously counterfeit. Its easy to tell.
Thank you for watching! I have issues withmy clients buying products at grocery stores. I posted this on my website too! If you have a website PLEASE post this video!!!

Still say it's all bullshit. That's why you will never find this crap in my salon. I'm 12 years strong with no help from any of these lines.
