I like thinking this music as an adaptation of the story of Snow White, but with a darker enf. With reference to Genesis, the fruit that poison the princess frees her from her ignorance, the relationship he had with his stepmother - as well as others when remained in her father`s castle - was false, her life was like a dream from the beginning, the luxury plus disaffection, although the prince would prove the opposite, he does not come and what remains are bones and awareness of a wasted life.

One of the reasons that I love Florence is that she isn't one of those singers who is with the new 'fashion'. She hasn't had any botox, she isn't in the magazines and she isn't one of those people who is always having affairs or publically announcing her new single. Sure, technically you could come up with a universal conclusion about it's about, but the memories and feelings it brings you back to are singular. Of course the lyrics come mostly from the point of view of a girl, but that doesn't mean it's all 'girly music'. Guys can relate to the feelings portrayed in the songs and her voice remains really beautiful, no matter what gender her audience is. Your friends are somewhat shallow, if i may add.
