LDS cannery is the best for staples. Your wheat is still good for 30 years! Put it in a dark place and you're good to go. Wheat was found in the Egyptian pyramids that still sprouted. They didn't use mylar or 02 absorbers! Personally, I don't need anything to store for 30 years anyway. For the extras, Augason farms is good, but in my opinion, (I've been doing this a long time), Honeyville Grain can't be beat. Their flat rate shipping is $4.49! What a deal. (cont'd)
@katzcradul Honeyville Grain typically runs 15% off your entire order sale the first week in April and the first week in October. That's an awesome savings. If you order from Augason Farms again, be sure to try their Almond Poppyseed muffin mix. It's an add water only mix and it's the best muffin I've ever tasted. It's hard to believe they are so good. Yeah, it bites when you learn that you paid too much for something, but now you know. There's a learning curve for prepping. Good video.
Sometimes the LDS doesnt have EVERYTHING on the pre packed list in stock. I would call ahead! I drive right past mine everyday...so I just stop....but if I was driving I would call first.
I am glad you are feeling better. Its good to see you back. Can you pick me up on your way to the cannery ? I need to go again. I dont think the outer banks is out of your way LOL.
@OBXSOLWIND Thanks Kevin, I will be by your house in the morning so we can go to the LDS cannery. I will bring the big trailer because I know when you do something you do it BIG. LOL!
Good find. I went to the LDS cannery in Worchester Mass. twice in the last month. It is a 3 1/2 hour trip one way and round trip cost $121.35 in fuel but I picked up enough bulk food to make the trip pay off. Be safe.
@sebagosteve I live in the worcester area and been trying to find a cannery. I hate to bother you, but do you have any contact info on their cannery, and do you need to be LDS to purchase from them? Are they open on weekends, or just select days? Thanks for the help I am trying to get my family prepped and appreciate your help.
@johnandrea1234 It is on Brooks street and is open on Thursdays and Saturdays 9-4. You do not have to be a member but you should print the order form from the LDS cannery website and fill it out before you go in. They take cash, check, or credit/debit cards. Go to google and type in LDS cannery location for the phone and physical address. Good luck.
Sorry I didnt get the video out before you placed you order. You will love the cannery. You can take your wheat to the cannery and can it in #10 cans when you make your appt. Its great to have you back brother!

@sebagosteve Yea, I could have trippled the amount of food that I showed in my video by buying it at the LDS Cannery. My Bad!

@usfreedom22 Thanks brother! And thanks for the LDDS video that you did. Great stuff!
FUBARPROTOCOL 11 months ago
@usfreedom22 Better double check this. My cannery doesn't allow any food to be brought in from outside sources. (They use to, but not now.)
