  • Ok, I got onion cutting ninjas in my room..

  • when simba is walking down there after the fire, you can see Zazu bow and say "your majesty" but they took out the voice for the final cut of the movie

  • This is the bit that gets me every time. The walk up the rock with the music and then the roar.... and then the singing at the end :') 100% guaranteed to make me a blubbering mess. AND I'M PROUD OF IT! GO SIMBA! <3

  • I get shivers everytime I see and hear this. Incredible.

  • best moovie for ever. i don't know what happed with the disney companie.

  • Disney has NEVER done better than this... Truly the best animated film I have ever seen!

  • "Mufasa: remember

  • Brings back memories. still brings tears in my eyes.

  • I am truly lucky to have grown up when these movies came out, because I don't only like them for nostalgic reasons, but they are truly timeless stories.

  • There were five hyenas that watched this.

  • so they fucked like lions to have the baby eeeeeeh porno disney.

  • @josera234 nope. your mind deceived you.

  • Me: Damn... my contact, it just... its making me tear up.... in both eyes...

Friend: You wore your glasses today....

  • 1:33 Lok Vah Koor!

  • 1:06!!!!

  • In a way, Disney describes the last bit of the book of Revelation in this last part of the Lion King. Simba being Jesus, Scar being Satan. Jesus defeats Satan. Jesus desenda from heaven to begin a new world, thus the pride lands turning all green and beautiful.

  • @bellaishot1 did you really have to taint this beautiful story with your biblical allegory? >_>

  • @akatsukiyondaime2 Just so you know, The Lion King is also based on of one of William Shakspears plays. All I said was that in a way, Disney describes the last bit of the Book of Revelation. When Simbas walking up Pride Rock, thats like Jesus coming back to deliver us all from evil and creating a new world. Thus the Pride Lands becoming more beautiful after that rain storm.

  • @quinten89990 u did not grow up with this movie... lol u were 1 maybe 2 when it cam out... lol sry

  • when i graduate from college i want from 1:04 on to play as i walk up to get my diploma lol

  • @eiupanther2012 have your ipod plugged in underneath your robe XD dude that will be fucking SIIK!!!!!

  • im definitely crying,

  • 5 people didn't take their place in the Circle of Life.

  • i remember growing up with this... this is one of the BEST animated movies ever... to me its topped only by Treasure Planet but only because TP was my very first disney movie i ever saw... then i saw TLK and i was like *awesome face*

  • Remember... 'nuff said

  • i just get choked up watching this part

  • 5 guys got eaten by lions...

  • this gives me the chills everytime i watch it. god this is so epic and awesome. the best ending of a movie

  • This is how thw world will look when the Lord returns.

  • um people? The land did not magically rejuvenate. Notice he has a cub at the end? We don't know how long after Simba became king that his daughter was conceived and then Nala had to be pregnant for a few months and then give birth. All that time the land had time to rejuvenate.

    *facepalm*

  • This scene is made over 9000 times more epic by Hans Zimmer.

  • im sure im not the only one who got chills at 1:04 and started tearing up at 1:25

  • STILL my favorite Disney movie.

  • i always expect a 'who you are' on the end of that 'remember' every siongle time i watch this part of the film.

  • The Lion King is much better than The Lion King 2. :)

  • @BeatleGirl8D Amen, sister.

  • 1:04 this music will start when Jesus returns

  • Only old school Disney could make a lion walking up a rock epic. :)

  • Now I regret not going to see the Lion King in 3D...

  • @MrBufellow me too =[

  • @MrBufellow missed out BIG TIME /:

  • It Is Time

  • ONIONS EVERYWHERE

  • Love this film, especially this part. Can't stop watching the bit between 1:04 and 1:33

  • My fav of all Disney's <3

  • Best animation movie of all time!

  • hahahahahahaha look at how simba, mufasa and all the good lions are all good features whereas scar, kovoo are all black and ugly hahahaahahah racasist much?

  • when I was younger I tried to roar just like simba during the end scene, because simba was my big hero and even now I still look at this movie with pride. I have grown up allot and have learned a very important from this movie' REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE'

thumbs up if you remember who you are

  • I was four years old when I watched this movie first and I love it now more than ever before ;)

  • the old Disney was way better!

  • I haven't seen this movie in a long time but... How he can roar to rejuvenate pride rock, even as incomprehensible as it is, how did Pride Rock get set in flames? I mean pause at 0:00 how is that even possible.(I don't know what happens in the scene before this so if it was clearly explained in the previous scene, my bad)

  • @13THELUCKY13 Yeah, the previous scene does show it. A lightning strike set the dry and dead brush on fire. And the roar didn't necessarily 'rejuvenate' Pride Rock'. I think it was more of a 'I'm reclaiming my territory and rightful place as king' kind of situation.

  • Epic!

  • GOOSEBUMPS!

  • TILL WE FIND OUR PLACEEE, ON THE PATH UNWINDINGGGGG, IN THE CIRCLEEEEE... THE CIRCLE OF LIFEEEEEEEE *BOOM*

  • guys. i am 15 years old, but i love that film. I was grew up with this. And now my young brother(12) wathing films like: ben 10 Ultimate alien, ben 10, batman the brave and the bold .... . This films are bad. Very bad. I dont udnerstand why dont watch films like this.

  • @bazsotomi11 I undertand you. I am 16 and LOVE this. My fave Disney movie (Pixar is Toy Story).

  • 5 people have failed at life and deserve to die!

  • i don't know the real reason why i cried so much.. maybe this movie is just really nostalgic, really amazing in every aspect.. or maybe i missed my childhood so much..

  • @marszgee whatever

  • Dammit...my eyes are powerless against this show of immortal amazingness

  • "Lion King," you bow to no one.

  • I get chills When You hear Simbas Father say ''Remember'' Its just amazing, I Love The Lion King<3

  • 5 people had no childhood.

  • i'v ben wondering how can an animation movie makes mature people to cry ;)

  • If this is not the PERFECT story of how the world is waiting on us to be restored and take our true places in life, I don't know what is.

  • This deserves more th\n 240p

  • Note to self: If in the middle of a desolate land, stand atop one of the highest places in said desolate land and roar (or yell) real loud to magically renew the life in the surrounding area.

  • @swygster It only works if you've got the Berliner Philharmoniker backing you up the whole time :)

  • that roar is still epic!

  • At 1:03 I get chills

    At 1:24 I get goosebumps

    At 1:32 I cry

    LONG LIVE THE (lion) KING!!!!!

  • has there ever been a more awe-inspiring scene in the history of cinema

  • wowwwwww...I haven't had such an epic outburst of goosebumps in such a long time...

  • byääh, im crying :D too amazing, woaaaah <3

  • I went to see this in 3D and it was the best thing i have ever seen in cinema, this part and the start was the absalute best, it was amazing, everyone was singing along and when it finished, everyone was clapping, it was AMAZING. but there where these anoyin bratty girls that where screamin and talkin real loud that i could hardly hear the movie, so that kinda ruined it, but me and my friend are gonna go and watch it again coz it is EPIC !!!!!!

    Disney : No, how could i ?

Kids : You have forgotten who you are, and so forgotten us, look inside yourself disney, you are more than what you have become. You must take your place in the Circle Of Life.

Disney : How can i go back? I'm not who i used to be...

Kids : Remember who you are, you are our son, and the one true king. Remember who you are.

Disney : No please don't leave me !

    Kids : remember, remember, remember

  • @jitteryolive Just change that "Kids" to "Walt Disney" and it would be perfect.

  • SO MUCH MUSICAL POWER WOW DISNEY IS REALLY GONE DOWN HILL WE WANT IT BACK!!!!

  • I climb the stairs when 0:58 starts and once i get to the top i roar like 1:26

The music in this scene is so powerful; as simba realises his destiny in the great circle of life- long live the lion king!!

  • Ever since I've first watched this movie when I was 1, from beginning to end I've always been completely engrossed in it, but this just hits it right home for me. It's an absolutely gobsmacking and amazing scene, I always feel inspired and uplifted after watching and listening to it. Personally, probably my favourite disney scene, it tugs my heartstrings everytime. :') It just reaches me at a deep and meaningful level, I hope that is the same for someone else.

  • I just saw this again today.

It was really amazing how the audience was silent [except like, one or two little kids] and when it ended everyone clapped and some even stood up.

    I <3 Disney

  • @Hetaliafan81 same here! It made me really proud to be surrounded by people who share their love for The Lion King :)

  • thumbs up if you used to open your mouth and pretend to roar when ever simba and the lioneses roar :D i still do xD

    masterpiece

  • wait i thought simba and nala were cuzins??

  • @XxepicgirxX It happens.

  • @XxepicgirxX It's normal in the animal kingdom for things like that.

  • 5 people killed their brother to become king, then got pwned by their nephew.

  • one of Hans Zimmer's masterpieces :)

  • Why can't Disney remember like Simba? Why can't they remember who they used to be?

  • very ammmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaizing

  • intro for my band... one day you will realize who we are and say holy shit.... epicXepicequals b9...

  • My opinion... Best Scene in the whole movie. It actually makes me cry everytime even though I've seen this movie a million times ;) The Lion King (has got to be the most amazing and beautiful and best animated movies of all time)

  • @XalphadgX Exactly! It is just so POWERFUL! It evokes so many emotions. Just watching Simba finally embrace his destiny... oooh, gives me shivers!

  • Man, as a kid this movie was my life. I remember the golden days when me and Karra would reinact the entire film. I was always Simba ^^ We knew everyline and act. It feels so nostalgic to be able to look at this again after so long. I was only 5 and now I'm suddenly 15. Long live the Lion King.

  • The drums in this is EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D It sounds AMAZING! I wish Broadway added the drums in this piece!!!!

  • And seventeen years later still brings tears to my eyes.

  • If only I could live an experience like that before I close my eyes......

  • i miss the old disney epics

  • They say that we're the dominant species on earth, but we can't roar like a lion :( That would be awesome!

  • in this scene mufasa should have roared with him

  • 90's FTW

  • did you know timone and pumba are the only ones in this scene that aren't visably wet, unlike everyone else.. :)

  • @BackupNotOut15 Only wish that was true.

  • Corrupted Disney! They don't have that magic any more. They left it in the

    90s.

  • @DucEvolution The only magic to be found in Disney anymore is on Waverly Place, and that's just lame. My left big toe is more magical than Disney nowadays. Literally, it casts spells all the time. Keeps setting my socks on fire. Or maybe that's just the athlete's foot :P

  • lol i wish animals were really like this

  • im using this as my bands intro.

  • This was when Disney was great

Please Disney remember who you are

  • @smileyfan16 well... i think its to late 4 disney ^^ look in the tv and you know what i mean... hannah montana, zack and cody..... trash x 100 i think, i miss the old disney movies too :(

  • @smileyfan16 They won't because Disney is not run by the same people. They don't know what they're doing. Someone has to come out and replace him. Unfortunately our environment for markets isn't conducive to new businesses sprouting.

  • @smileyfan16 they finally did when they made "Tangled" =)

  • @LaskaSkywalker Tangled is an amazing movie, without a doubt. Almost like their past masterpieces, but a return to form indeed :)

  • You know those things that give you chills?

The things you watch over and over again and you can't help but tear up every time?

This is one of those things.

  • Remember... when Disney was great...

  • @videosearcherwhenbor i miss that time, king of lion is my childhood, and what about my son's childhood? Hannah Montana? =/

  • @91325427 I know right?

  • I only listen to this when I'm home alone. Wanna know why?

Because I burst into tears every time. I don't want my family to ask why I'm crying.

  • im just waiting for the diamond edition

  • Absolutely Perfect.
