Hey question... Does anyone know the type of tree stand or the name .. The tree stand it has spikes in the base so it sticks into anytree ETC>> so it doesnt slip???? does anyone know thank you
sitting in the stand is nothing like sitting watching t.v cause u dont here the phone ringin or ur girlfriend talking ur ear off. its all about the love for the hunt if u dont love it then u shudnt b in the woods
And 4th get a enclosed stand so you can still feel your feet after 1 hour. then you can stay out long enough to get a Nice big buck. So dont buy this freeze your ass off stand get an enclosed one!
set up a few stands, sit in one early morn, stalk around, sit in another mid day-late afternoon. i dont sit much more then a few hours at a time. its good to move around when a lot of hunters are in a good area, and catch a deer getting spooked round. but when uv sat for a while and a big one comes out weeewt!
Carry that tree stand up and down some hilly terrain, that is a workout! I was out this past weekend I hiked over 4 miles to get in to hunt, I did sit for 5 hours, but then I hiked back out with my stand on my back. That is exercise!!

The tree stand would have been considerably lighter than dragging a deer 4 miles out of the woods. How would you have gotten the deer back to the truck? Not trolling, just curious!
I can't leave stands in the places I hunt as it is often public land, I carry a plastic sled so I can drag my deer out. It's not easy, but it's what I have to do.

Is there any method of bow hunting where one is not just sitting around all day?
I would like to start hunt, but I am not looking for an activity comparable to sitting around the T.V. on a Sunday after watching football.
Is there any type of bow hunting that is physically strenuous and demands real athleticism?
