  • why dont they make helicopters for home 6 channel. i hate these 3 channel piece of shit

  • Is the blade mcx2 worth the extra $30 dollars

  • Good evening from France,

Do you have an opinion between the Blade mcx VS ESky Lama V3?

    Regards.

  • ¡and your sons¿?¡

  • Man this vid upsets me its a great vid and that's the problem lol I bought this exact heli a month ago and it is very unstable when I hover it pulls to the left doing a small circle in the air at first I thought it was me not being experienced but after seeing this I think I may have a bad heli any ideas?

  • is that mickey mouse on the controller

  • hey there! does this heli self level out after you move it to the left for eg like the solo pro v2 or does it stay in that angle and you have to correct it to hover like the honey bee v2 and other cp's?

  • You look like fat hitler

  • Hey this video was really great. Keep up the good work!

  • @CrazyHeliDude Thanks, Your videos are very good also. I enjoy watching them as well. Thanks for watching and the comment. It is appreciated.

  • is it just me or does it look like it goes faster backwards?

  • putting the battery in canopy will make it go faster without adding any weight.

  • my sons is a mcx2 blade and is a little more bulk then that one why??

  • for 99 bucks what a joke. get a 3 channel one with tail rotor on top. 30 bucks !

  • @PLISKEN12

This is 4 channel. The 30 buck one is 3 channel.

  • @PLISKEN12 The newbcopters are good and fun if thats all you ever want to do, but once you move to a 3D with a swash plate it will be more difficult to control it.

  • @sergeantRC why is this 3d?

  • @PLISKEN12 When you control a 2D copter to have your throttle on the left stick and your yaw and pitch on the right stick. This allows you only move forward, backward, up, down and pivot left and right. When you use a 3D bird you will be able to strafe side to side which also allows you to bank turns. This requires much more dexterity and control. Anything with a horizontal tail rotor is 2D.

  • Hello,

When I stop flying with my MCX,

he begins to turn around all the time and dumping it down ...

    Why?

    And what can I do?

    Greetz

  • you should paint the bottom rotor blade wight it makes it look good when it is spinning

  • hey i got a mcx but it keeps on flying backward rather than forwards. i trimmed it all the way but it still does it. please give me some advice to solving my probelm i will much appreciate it. thankyou (:

  • Hey, i have a blade mcx, and something weird happens , the swashplate seems to be pushing backward all the time ! when you look at it, the little pin on the back is all the way down, how can i fix this ?

  • around how much would one of these cost?

  • @Craysmix $99.99 for the RTF

  • Do you think I could bind my futtaba 2.4g transmiter to this heli??

  • I thinking of getting an e-flite heil but should i get a mCX or the mCX2

  • I just got a blade mSR. But let me tell you, my mCX hovers like nothing I've ever seen. Great heli :)

  • hye cool.. I just got a Blade MCX2 for my birthday this week. Its a cool helicopter!!! now i just need to get good like you. haha

  • i just got a chinook IR heli...after been using foam mini ones... since chinook one is all plastic, it's much more stronger.

  • With my mcx i have a problem with The trim

  • Love the paint job!

  • how long is the run time

  • @joehandsome99 How long can you fly it for on a fully charged battery?

  • seeing as both the RTF and BNF versions are DSM2 can I re-bind the RTF to an DX5e or DX6i?

  • @ElRhinoProductions I dont know for sure on the dx5e, but yes on the dx6i.

  • @ElRhinoProductions You can also bind it to the DX5e :)

  • @ElRhinoProductions yes you can.

  • I like this video. great shooting.

  • @CrazyHeliDude thanks for watching.

  • its cool how it hovers by itself. nice copter.

  • @namezryan thanks

  • Cool vid. I am just getting started in gelid and it seems this is a good beginner. Thanks for the review

  • @Animalman45 anytime. Thanks for watching.

  • I just bought one yesterday, I LOVE IT!

    I bought the RTF version.

Going back for the Glow in the Dark Hop Up's next week & maybe a new Canopy.

  • @Cylence01 thats great.

  • This is great for beginners, Right?

  • @TheFlight17 yes it is a great starter heli.

  • I LOVE E-FLITE!!!

    pretty nice review!

  • is the DX5 radio any good?

  • @1911Solution88

Yes it is.. I recommend buying it along with Phoenix flight simulator so that you get the free DX5 with it :) 159.00 :)

  • damn I want that RC too...how much is it?...in $?

  • the latest version, is 90 for the ready to fly not sure about bind

  • thanks...

  • your welcome?...

  • $99 (i dont recall if that is BNF or RTF)

  • So small i have a bigger on LOL!

  • very nice video thanks for that.

  • such a great heli crashed it a thousand times and never broke once.Just cracked body but i ordered mia pro upgrade alum struts and body

and a aluminum swash plate so no more plastic bending. :)

  • though what heli do you recommend upgrading to?

  • Best heli evar!

  • ive flown one of these... it sooo fun

  • Fantastic little heli :)

  • Excellent review. But please kill the music when speaking. :)

  • I have a mcx and i have never re-trim it

  • what do you do with the batterys? i need to retrim every battery...:(

  • In one video, the author stated that you have to re-trim the mCX EVERY time you insert a new battery?!?!?! is this true? if so, that's disappointing. :(

  • @grandviewguy18 no no no no, atleast with my mcx s300 that is not the case, and i believe they both use the same 5 in 1 receiver. i trimmed once out of the box and it has been perfect ever since.

  • Thanks for watching.

  • wow i didnt know there were any 4 channel helis this small i want to get one now

  • @singer3188 this one is about $120

  • @singer3188 also, there's a blade msx (i think thts what its called) and it's harder to fly than this one

  • @Fantarulz83 I think you mean msr. The single rotor version. And yes, looks harder to fly(means more fun in my eyes).

  • That thing is awesome!!! I went hunting for helicopter parts and my local hobby shop and they let me take the mcx for a spin and wow was I amazed. The owner even crashed it 1-2 times but it got back up with no problem. It's perfect for indoors and I'm looking forward to the msr!

  • i thought it was 4 channel. If it is why do you need nose weight, just nose over a bit.

  • cool

  • Thanks. I didnt know how to make mine more nose heavy.

  • THeKillhill i flew this heli in about 2 days i meastered it it is extremly easy and you can fly it out doors but it is super sensative to wind airdrafts

  • When flying outdoors i found that adding more weight to the nose made it much easier to fly. Shortening the flybar works as well (1cm off both sides).

  • be carefull with shortening the flybar because, maybe you have more speed but you have less stability and control.

  • how much expeirience wil u need

cause someone said to master the CX2 before moven to this also can u fly it outside for some more room

  • hello im about 2 buy a mcx.....is it really stalbe and can it hover in one place?

  • yes..incredibly! it wont dissapoint

  • do you know what T.B.E. is, and what in particular is the cause?

  • thank you!

  • yes because its a coaxial

both blades turns opposite direction to control the air..

  • hi joehandsome99

could this heli be bind with spectrum dx7.

    thank you.

  • yes of course you can bind it with the DX7

  • yup recently thats wat som guys at the flying field said

besides i can take a heli with a tail motor and a cyclic pitch.

plus i can hover inverted in the sim so yup im gunna buy the msr soon when i make up the money thanks

  • they wouldmatch even better with the blade msr single rotor lol and its a sereous ultra micro zippy hot rod

  • Just give up with this and get an MSR

  • This is a great heli i just bought it from a local hobby lobby. I dropped it 5 times from 7 feet without any damage. Easy to fly

  • It's a great heli, I bought one today at Hobby Town USA and it's awesome. Alot of fun and very lightweight and durable.

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • how long does it last on a charge?

  • my brother flew it recently, pretty insane. 15min of flight time!!! Like having your own personal controlable dragonfly. Remember when kids imagined there toys could fly!? now they can! cant wait for anti-gravity boots.

  • Thanks for watching.

  • where i get ???

  • horizon hobby

  • i love how u panted it

  • Thank you .

  • your welcome

  • i have the dragon fly 4ch from hobby tron it works really good! just bought it a week ago

  • The Blade MCX retails for $99.99 ($100) RTF or ready-to-fly. My local hobby shop sells it for this much and usually sells them at the same price as Horizon Hobby would online. If you like a more scale (real-looking) model, I recommend what I have, the Blade MCX S300. That baby is awesome!

  • how much did it cost?

  • $130 I think.

  • Joe !! you again !! lol what is the title of this music track in this clip ??

  • I made the back ground music with magix music maker and a sound pool dvd.

  • I bought the cx2 an it also is a great heli for indoors, as long as you get the hang of it outside for a while. Thinking about buying an mcx when winter hits!

  • Thanks for watching.

  • Flight time is about 8 min. and about 30 to 40 min. to charge battery. I have two and 4 batteries. It's a blast in the winter when you can't get out and fly other heli's although this one is strictly for INDOOR flying.

  • can u bind it to the dx5e?

  • I dont know, but I am sure someone at horizon hobby could answer that one for you.

  • Can you tell me the flight time and the time of charge! (Thks 4 the review)

  • Flight time is around 5 minutes or more and takes about 30-45 minutes to recharge the battery.

  • how much and were can i get it

  • horizon hobby online

  • do you think the lama v5 is a good start for me that has never flown an r.c before? thanks great flying hop i can get that good lol.

  • I suggest you start with normal RC planes first, I made the mistake to directly go for a helicopter...and brutally anihilated it at the 2nd flight...

  • cheers will do

  • Thanks for the tip Helge129

  • wow ahaha the picture on the box is bigger than the actuall helicopter

  • It is a tiny heli. Thanks for watching.

  • I have an mcx and tricked out without the mia upgrades and got faster froward flight the easiest and quickest thing to do is cut down the boom by 1.5 inches this does not fix it completly but there is some significant improvements such as speed gained. It has a little more response over all to.

  • Sounds cool. Thanks for watching.

  • how many channels is dad heli????

  • dad heli has 4 channels.

  • Congratulations Jon, very nice flight. Nice box landing too! I've just bought a mCX and I think I can control it pretty well, except for landings... especially spot landings! That's so hard! When the heli starts getting closer to the spot, it's very hard to precisely control it to go where I want... I also have a doubt... I had to trim mine a lot to go forward... actually I trimmed it to the limit and now it doesn't go backwards by itself...

    oh, nice paint job too!!

  • The weak forward flight must be a commone problem with the mcx. I'm sure they will fix that soon. Thanks for the great comment vitorisaia.

  • Great review!

I see your a very expireneced flyer!

  • Thanks for watching and the great comment rchelicopterfun.

  • No Problem.

I have the blade cx3 and its not so much different from the Mcx.

  • I see they made many improvements with the cx3. The heading lock that compensates for power loss while flying. No more trimming with each battery change. I'd have one if they were a little cheaper.

  • it looks so much better with new paint job!

  • Thanks, I like it too!

  • I think I got it from a gas station and havent seen them since then.

  • thanks for the vid. i was wondering if it was stable or if you have to make it hover.:)

  • I hovered it twice in the video hands free. The mcx is a very neat heli to fly.

  • how do you fly back words? because when i hold mine to go backards it spins around unleass i hold it more to the left.

  • Sounds like a weak battery. Try going backwards on a fresh battery. If you still have problems, then make sure your trims are set to keep it still in a hover.

  • thanks for your help that worked!

  • Thats great!

  • awesome video. you can also put fuel tubing on the front of the landing skids to make it go forward faster.

  • Thanks for watcing and the tip wlollpop.

  • i subscribed :-D

  • Thanks for watching and the sub wlollpop.

  • luv your shirt.

  • Thanks, that is good to know forrest225.

  • is this 4 channel??

  • Yes, so you can learn to fly a heli with the MCX and then move up to the bigger ones TohWel.

  • Thank you very much... I got another problem... The LED light of the charger never turns off and never blinks... And when I use the heli the battery lasts for a little time... I've left the battery in the charger for almost 1 hour... Please help me

  • Put new batteries in your lipo charger. Weak batteries do what your explaining. I use rechargables in mine because you get about 15 charges out of the AA's before it is time to replace them.

  • hmm i dont have new batteries right now but this is strange... when i remove the lipo battery from the charger the LED light is still on... plus the AA batteries were the ones coming in the box... i must have charged the LiPo about 5 times...

  • Try replacing the batteries in the charger with new ones. If that doesnt work, then I suggest returning it for an exchange Migueyeah123.

  • Hey dude... I'd like to know what happens with my MCX... i got it today and the problem i have is with the rudder... when i put the throttle/rudder joystick in the top right position, the heli spins to the left... and when i turn the rudder to the left it turns very fast, and to the right it spins slowly... what should i do?

  • Sounds like a controller problem. I would talk to the company you purchased it from and ask for an exchange. I know that isnt the best answer, but since it is brand new, they should help to make it right migueyeah123.

  • Nice paint scheme on little bro! I had same problem with mine(slow forward), so I took a paper clip and slipped it on the bottom of the canopy, works perfect.

  • Thats a good idea. Thanks for watching and the tip egghed.

  • Mate im here in Australia and i was wondering if u think i should get a mcx or a cx2 i think i would get the same flight exsperienct out of both what do u think

  • The MCX is for indoor flying only and you can fly the CX2 outdoors in a light breeze. Both helis controls are the same and will help you to learn how to fly 4 channel helis if you decide to go larger one day. There is the CX3 which costs a little more, but has a heading hold gyro which makes it easier to fly.

All these helis are good choices. It depends on your tastes. Hope this helps spitfiremk22.

  • joehandsome99 do you know the transmitter range with the stock radio? i cant seem to find it in the manual anywhere!

  • The range is farther than you can see MCX, but if I had to guess I would say around 100 feet. That is about the range of the Ember2 and the transmitter is identical on each. Thanks again for watching Trooper101st.

  • Got mine! Not dissapointed at all, flys beautiful i totally reccomend this little beauty : )

  • Thats great. Thanks for the comment Trooper101st.

  • Excellent review. I enjoy showing people the 'no hands' trick. I'm loving the paint job, too!

  • The no hands trick is neat. Thanks for compliment on the paint job t4hairplane.

  • I'm getting 1 2mrw :=) for those who want 2 know how 2 make it fly forward faster i found this info:

Then, looking at it from the back pop off the right link from the swash plate and you'll notice the plastic piece is threaded onto the metal bar.

If you turn the plastic piece two full turns clockwise and snap it back on, it will increase forward flight a lot.

  • Glad to hear that you are getting a MCX. Thanks for watching Trooper101st.

  • I got one a week ago, and out of the box, it would go backwards very fast but flew forward very slowly. I opted to adjust the linkage rather than fiddle with the weight, and I really had to crank it down. I probably turned it 10 times before it would go forward substantially faster. But now it flies great! I have a whole fleet of helicopters ranging from very large to very small, and this is the most stable helicopter I have ever flown. It's great fun and durable. I highly recommend it.

  • Thats good news. For some the linkage would not be an easy thing to do so I did not mention it. The MCX is a great flying heli. Thanks for watching and the comment jgaarsoe.

  • I just gone one yesterday and am having a lot of fun with it! I have had many disastrous flight attempts so far, but am studying the manual!

  • They are easy to fly once you get the hang of it and most light crashes dont break any parts. Remember, if you are going to crash to cut off the power to the blades before impact. This will reduce the chances of breaking anything. Thanks for watching lexlaw007.

  • I bought one today!

I have a little problem however, when is in the air it spins to the left slightly. I am very new to RC's. Any suggestions?

    Nice review.

  • Use the trim buttons on the controller to steady it. Under the left stick, there are two buttons, those trim buttons will adjust the spin to the left or right stpauls0student.

  • Nice review:)

  • Thanks lorenzosia.

  • Hi.

Great review. I have found the same little problem - the Blade mcx seem to be more quicker backward. I had to set the trim a bit to the front to blade stay in the air on the place. But the weight in the nose will help, as you have noticed. Mobility to the backward is still better than forward, but it is than much better(a contraction matter probably).

    Thankx for the review.

    By Martin

  • These little things are amazing and fly better than the cx in my opinion. Thanks for watching and the great comment Martin.

  • I love this tiny little heli its so small yet capable of so much!!! Keep up the good work and check out my review of this heli!!! :)

  • Thanks for the comment and watching Skyhighrc.

  • Got it for XmAs! I Love that little guy!!
