But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? "And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong." And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!" And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."
You made an assertion with no supporting evidence or detail. What's up with that? Is this just your unsupported opinion or do you have some intellectual analysis forthcoming?
half of the people who are SUPPOSED to be Gods people arent going but God is so merciful that a thug whos heart is in the right place can meet him in paradise
this is the greatest easter message i've heared. i've been in youth ministry for 4 years, and some of the people in the hood i live in need to hear this.
"...But no one can tame the tongue: it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who have been made in the likeness of God; from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way."
Agreed! Appears very much like Austria and Germany before WWII, where those in power (the government and institutional leaders) blinded the country with a sense of superior arrogance, thus rendering them unable to even see the downtrodden and oppressed right there in front of them. Government gansters!
Next time I'm in Chi-town, I'm there. Watch out. The Lord is about to do something very special with you. I have become aware of some of what you have already been able to do but, God is about to do something through you all for the world to see. God continue to bless us all.
he cannot whoop to save his life. to all preachers, if you dont have a whoop, ask god for it or just leave it alone. whooping aint for everybody, so just do it as God gave it you and stop trying to be like everybody else
I agree, he's not a good whooper, but I'd rather hear an excellent preacher w/ a sorry whoop (which is Rev. Moss) than a sorry preacher with an excellent whoop.
That doesn't mean what he's preaching is biblical. It means nothing that he's going to be the paster of an "established church". Look at Joel Oosten and his "established church" and the crap he preaches. Gangsters paradise?? Are you kidding me??? How can he not know if Moses, David, Abraham, etc...are not there? But every thug will be there??? Now let's read our Bible.
For those of us who do read our Bibles it's very clear that Jesus didn't hang out in the Jerusalem Hilton with the rich and famous, but instead with the folks (lepers, thieves, beggars, disabled, mentally challenged, etc.) who had been marginalized and swept aside by society. Don't be so high and mighty that you don't end up unable to see Lazarus.
But Jesus' message was not ultimately SOCIAL, but spiritual. He was showing the well-off that they were even worse off than the poor and lepers because of their sin. The rest of the NT explains that our sinful nature is the great equalizer - none of us is good in the sight of God, regardless of race, gender, status. We are ALL wicked in the sight of God and in need of salvation given only by God. The danger to think one's self better than another is a risk even for the one who posted this video.
There is always a danger of falling into a chasm of us-good vs. them-evil. Hopefully my unintentional double negative wasn't taken literally. The posting of this and other Trinity videos was and is singularly to provide unedited context not presented by those controlling the bully pulpits and saturating the media, though desire to understand is still required. A good reference is "Lift Every Voice: Constructing Christian Theologies from the Underside" - Rev. Dr. Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite
He didn't say that "every" thug will be there. He said the thug on the cross w/ Jesus will be there. The Bible DOES say that. Seems like you need to read yours.
Awesome Message!! I love Otis Moss

How is this not sound teaching? What has he said and presented that is not doctrinally and theologically incongruent? Support your assertion.
