Basically, Joe and I have a big year end special planned that Shawn is going to be a part of. Back in June, Joe and I realized that people might be like "I know who Oliver and Joe are, but who's this Shawn jerk?".
Next thing we knew, we were improvising 30 second "Fun facts" about Shawn and in the end we thought "Hey, why not build up to his appearance?".
Oh lord, there's a stretch of her career I often forget about. (and especially Ron Perlman's - dude likes monster makeup I think!).
I don't know if any serious underground living communities are being planned or lived in at the moment - I guess when I decided this episode would be FIRMLY tongue-in-cheek I also decided not to look into that. My mistake! Maybe there'll be a follow-up episode...
Yeah, people seem to forget about that, and just remember Terminator or Hell Boy (and you could be right about the makeup, though he wasn't in any for Magnificent Seven, TV series not movies obviously).
I had gathered that it was tongue-in-cheek *g* But it is a point, and though probably few are seriously considering it they should. Geothermal energy, extra space, lack of that annoying sun thing...
Haha, no worries I know you knew - I just feel silly for not digging a bit deeper. I know there are a lot of homes being built which are partially submerged within hillsides and the like for additional insulation from the elements...
Yeah, yeah I think I'm going to look into this further. Thanks for the inspiration!
I like the bit where's you're fake running in a field and have a conversation with the sun.

Thanks! I was fond of that as well, it's always nice to break from our standard shots.

I can't think of this kind of thing without thinking of a certain 1987 show based in New York staring Linda Hamilton.
Still, it's not a bad idea - if someone purpose built such cities. Would help if the population continues to increase at such a rate.
