I think it should be a one hit kill with the bolt action with a silencer, but only if its very close to the head. Head, neck and shoulders should always be a 1 hit kill. But more often than not a kill to the stomach wont kill them in 1. Just my 2 cents

iTHEIDA, have you used the supressor now, since after the patch? And L96A1 is the worst sniper rifle to use w/ suppressor due to its low rate of fire and mag size vs the other sniper rifles w/ suppressor attachment.

Anyway after patch I started using dragunov, and fell in love with it! Love getting those OSOK kills in the head! My headshot ratio is about 85% in this current prestige, and I average at least 4-6 usually in a sniper friendly map, when I'm doing good.

Indeed. I don't use snipers myself (yet) but I imagine Dragunov would be best for its generous ammo capacity since when suppressed they all have the same kill power. For emergency follow up shots, I imagine Wazoo's recoil's a little more forgiving, but Dragunov would be my choice.

At least they make it a OHK in the head now, but they are still sort of useless if you're not some godly marksman. Silencers WERE actually useful on the sniper rifles in MW2, though.
