@bccarl88 Ahh, the infamous turret whine. It was BAD this summer with the humidity. Most of ours are usually pretty quiet, 2 & 5 like to whine until they run a little then they stop
@jsebeny I'll work a deal with ya, I'll do your 12 rakes, you do my 12 turrets ;) At least they stop, that lane will only whine for a minute or so and it stops on it's own. They almost all whine a little, this summer has been bad but they all stop pretty quickly and once running if they sit idle they don't really whine again
@jsebeny Ya know, that's a good question lol. I never noticed it before. I'm guessing some kind of guard maybe? I'll have to look closer tonight, good eye there me! I didn't even notice that!
@Rep2369 this is a 2 part answer since i just got another notification that you replied to my other comment as well... 1) take that guard off. i'm sure it serves absolutely NO purpose. I've taken off some "shim" of some sort that's been on the cap for the turret on the 7 pin side when i rebuild them. also so kinda pin guide that's located on the same cap. 2) umm, i don't work at that 12 lane center anymore. I start at a new place tonight (32 lane house). So sure, you do these rakes...
@jsebeny 32?! That's cool, I didn't know ya changed centers bud! That's interesting about the shims, I don't think I've ever seen those. So what's the deal with the new center and the machines? Converted A2's? Jets?
That infamous whine is nostalgia!!!!
