Take the fake and gay fender vents off , paint your hood silver, tuck in your exhaust tips , they stick out toooooo far, change your muffler back to stock.It sounds like shit . Dont call it GT-R... its a grand am GT. I have a black one with the same hood. I like it but i know its weak, and not special , and i am ok with that. Just dont try to make it into something its not. Keep it clean and simple, and you will have alot less people mocking you .

@gunblade1499 the hood looks like its off a black grand am gt with the s/ct package and the main thing with looks I see done is the hood and rims and of course the three little chrome stickers on each side. the cold air intake will increase proformance and the exhaust releases back pressure and the lowering kit actually helps with the handleing but I will say they will have to install a new intake gasket because design flaws. the newer gasket design is excellent tho. and turbo on this is a no go

@speedfreak127 the fact stands that its ALL rice status...whats wrong with the OEM design? the hood vents are useless and non-functional, the rims ensure there are NO contact patches when launching, and the stickers are just plain gay...I had a GA with a CAI, headers and SLP exhaust w/ carbon fiber parts (w/ 170hp on 3000+lbs thats not worth bragging up)...not much can be done to this car without the forced induction route, and thats when investing in this would be too far!

I would never sink 7k into that kind of a car...

@doug2bitemore well the car comes from the factory with ram air through the front "nostrils" between the headlights it actually does add a little at speeds over 80mph. However if he has a true CAI hes way better off than anything factory. Also that hood was a factory option and you can remove the black peices behind the grills to make it a functional hood. Its part of the SC/T package.

Not at the moment...but it's all stock except for window tint anyway. I don't see the point in adding to the styling because its already pretty wild as it is. It's a white coupe with the torqued-style chrome rims, sunroof, taupe interior. It's my daily driver and I absolutely love it, but I've got a 1980 Z28 I'm going to put my money into instead lol. The late model Grand Am GT cars had about 180hp due to upgraded intake system and less restrictive exhaust, the ram air might, depending on where your filter is located, might add a few horsepower, so assuming you have everything set up right, you might be getting 190-195, but I would at least port your intake manifold, heads and upgrade your camshaft, then get your car dyno-tuned at a respectable shop. Buuuut...all this is my own opinions.
