  • Dont listen to this guy. First he says, "grilled chicken and fish diet only" and then a few sentences later says "no meat". Also he says to not eat 12 hours before the weigh in. If weigh in is same day as competition, which in many local tournaments it is, you will be so exhausted you will gas out in the first match. You are better off fighting in the heavier weight class at your body's strongest. If you want diet tips, consult a dietician or an expert. Don't listen to this nonsense.

  • you are not a licenced Dietician. do not overstep your boundries of pratice. please consult a licenced dietician, not a he said she said thing.

  • Screw it give me my doughnuts and I'll go a weight class higher, for tournaments you need your pasta rice and carb energy and most of all you need water. To do this yes you will hit your weight but you will inflict stress on the body, eat well, eat balanced and carb up the night before. Pasta the Athletes food.Mmmmmm

  • you should consult your coach in real life first,if you are a beginner and your reading this comment (I'm also still a beginner) eat healthy and if you dont train yet look for a place that teaches you hows to fight :p and a great website called bullhido will help you out :)

  • no offense, but his shodans in the backround could use a little light mayo for a while....poor guys....

  • whouldnt that burn u out? u need high carbs for energy levels..

  • fat fucks! lololol

  • omg, no doughnuts?

  • madklown06: yep, right but pssst... hes a champion..:)

  • that guy doing o soto gari in the backround has no drive. his technique sucks but thats probably cuz of the teachers that taught him.

  • I've been to about 15 judo tournaments and the longest wait ive had was 2-3 hours , but for nationals thats ok, I think they weigh in the day beofore

  • Every single tournament I've been to, you weigh in a few minutes before your first match. If you go in starved of carbs and water, your not going to compete well.
