thanks for posting....I got into the scene in 89 in manchester and it's great to hear a braodcast from the the source of house music....Chicago! Did Detroit have a radio station playing techno?

nah no stations in detroit back then,everything outta detroit was basically an underground party thing,not much support for techno at first til a record label in the UK called Kool Kat saw the potential in this music and released detroit techno music on wax thats actually when the name"Techno" was phrased
