ATTENTION AMERICANS: The Salvation Army is probably the best place for Americans to donate. They have been in Japan since 1895 and have the infrastructure on the ground and the Earthquake and Tsunami experience to get the most help to the people in the shortest amount of time.
looking at all the earthquakes that happened in the last week or two over in japan, there's a good chance about 1/3 of the entire country could possibly fall into the ocean. All those earthquakes are focused in a specific area.

What the people need most now is food, I think. The food supply chain network is actually quite fragile - not just in Japan, but in most developed countries. Here in the United States, grocery stores only carry roughly four days worth of food at any given moment. Grocery stores require a constant flow of delivery trucks to remain stocked. This can easily get disrupted in a disaster. When people get hungry law, order, and civility begin to break down.
Please know that most of the American people are sympathetic to your plight and would rather be spending our tax dollars to help those in Japan rather than being involved tn the Lybian mess. Take that time and prepare by storing a years supply of food and water because when it happens here the shelves will empty over night and they will not restock so quickly. looking at all the earthquakes that happened in the last week or two over in japan, there's a good chance about 1/3 of the entire country could possibly fall into the ocean. All those earthquakes are focused in a specific area.

We are meditating and really sending as much love to that part of the world as possible. I know it doesn't seem like things are changing are getting better, but they will and we need to just hang on and believe. We love you Japan, keep your heads up and be strong, help is on the way. What the people need most now is food, I think. The food supply chain network is actually quite fragile - not just in Japan, but in most developed countries. Here in the United States, grocery stores only carry roughly four days worth of food at any given moment. Grocery stores require a constant flow of delivery trucks to remain stocked. This can easily get disrupted in a disaster. When people get hungry law, order, and civility begin to break down.

People better take a good look at Japan because it will happen in the USA very soon and every day you have to prepare now is a blessing. Take that time and prepare by storing a years supply of food and water because when it happens here the shelves will empty over night and they will not restock so quickly. If you are prepared there will be far less panic. I will not have to worry about food and water for 2 years when I am done. If this happens here I dont have to leave my house for anything.
