ya i am getting one and i want a manual but i live in the city so that would not work out pretty well since ill never get pass 2nd gear..but many people say how driving the g37 in manual is such a better experience then the automatic so im not quite sure lol..any suggestions?

you will kick yourself in the leg if you buy manual for city driving. It will be unbelievably annoying to stop and brake every 100 ft or even less.

But then again, if you get auto, where's the fun?

I live in the suburbs so manual was fun (Civic Si was my first car). Now I started commuting to work in the city and thank god I own an automatic G37. The traffic, the stop and go lights, the stupid pedestrians, the list goes on.... Do yourself a favor and an automatic. Maybe years from now you will have the ability to buy a second weekend car. Then get a stick.This is my best recommendation which I am planning to do myself.

You could get an Evo X automatic, the automatic has a faster 0-60 time than the manual. And people say it's more fun

The sound comes from the engine, not the transmission. The only way it would sound different is if with the manual you let it rev too high or too low.
