There are metal singers who scream way louder then Liam,for many years.And they have retained most of their vocal range.It is all about warming up before a show and doing voice exercises to maintain their vocal chords.And of course technique.His smoking/substance abuse and lack of maintenance with his voice,is most likely the main reason.But nothing can stop vocal changes when getting older.
