You got a guy in a chair being interrogated by Max, platter of interrogation tools (from your test stills album), Max covering the guy with gasoline, gasoline trail leading to the bad guy, Max smoking, etc. Just looks like you're ripping off Payne & Redemption, IMO.

@DoctorClerkwell Well you are entitled to your opinion, and I can understand where you might see similarities but our stories are Vastly different. This is in no way a rip off of Payne and Redemption, I have a lot of respect for those filmmakers and the amount of time they put into their project. I am not competing with them, I am not claiming to be better than them, I just simply wanted to spend my summer break doing a Max Payne adaptation.

Holy crap, now THIS is what we should have gotten instead of that garbage Mark Wahlberg was in, I'm a huge Max Payne fan, absolutely LOVE the games and was stunned when they screwed up the film so badly but this is a step in the right direction, cannot wait to see more.

BUT. But you want to do something that was already done in the game, maybe less violent, but you're just repeating ideas of game promoting them in harsher way.

No offence, but Max is so compete in its two parts that it's not the brightest idea to mess with the content like you want to do.

However, I see that you're also big fans of original franchise, so nevertheless best luck :)
