I should probably also include that there really isn't a "moral" in this story. Not all stories need to have "morals," though it's highly advisable. As the age-old philosopher Quintus Horatius Flaccus, or "Horace," stated that stories should both "entertain and instruct" (meaning, all stories should not only entertain but also have a moral that people can follow).
This film is more on the side of entertainment, as it has very little moral. What do you expect from advertisements?
It's a very simple message of breaking loose from surroundings that suck out your soul every single day. This man finds a way to fix all his woes, the ctrl+z command on his keyboard, which usually fixes mistakes on the computer but has magically become an 'undo' button IRL.
As in any classic tale, he gets the girl at the end. This story is yet another example of the American's idealization of existentialism, because most Americans have lost a sense of control in their own lives.
Ctrl + z is the command on a keyboard for undo. he tried to do everything he would do if he could undo everything, yet then when he went to undo all he had done, the ability to undo was gone. How is that difficult to understand?
