he's amazing. Such a wistful, though sharp song. I think almost everything I've heard by him is brilliant. Very underrated... and still quite under the radar, so to speak. I think that's a good thing, though. His music feels like a sinful pleasure... a bit perverted, maudlin, and madcap... all in an extremely authentic fashion.
Thank you for posting. I've only ever heard the album version of this song, and a poor quality live clip. This entire performance = totally new take on the lyrics
