The directors cut is brilliant. And Mikkelsens Tristan is the coolest and most entertaining and I accept everuthing else this aiming wizard does...but this? Yes.WTF....We don´ thave to mention the distance or wind etc. How the hell would he be able to see the traitor behind all those branches so far away, man? I know the kill is a compensation for having Tristan kill so few in the last battle but still....too much.
@Sumumabitch78 Its the same trick that US snipers use. I use it in a lot of the games I play on the PS3, shoot at were you would hide. (also if you have the right scope on a rifle it alows youto see thetough the leaves on the trees.) On the other hand, whats the range on a bow? It is a bit far feched, but still cool.

Althogh that shot is quite impossible I think it's awesome, because it gives a sort of magic to the figure of Tristan as a knight of Arthur!! Great ^^
How is this a WTF scene, if anyone truly thinks this is a WTF moment they really dont have much of a brain for logic, and if they do, its probably disfunctional or dead.
your brain is more disfunctional, give a statement little logic master. Idiot. Pulling out a blank comment is all you fuckin english speaking idiots can do. Puke on americans.
the implication is that Tristan, himself being a spy would know the spot where any betrayer would climb to observe the battle, either that or Aurthur was aware of the spy when he went to confront the Saxon King and directed Tristan's fire.
i mean, well it is a Composite bow. . .

This movie sucks so bad.
Its mostly about Guinerve the female character whose depicted a fighting warrior.
The movie is mostly aimed at young girls and women who need an ego boost
Typical woman-playing-with-swords-and-arrows cliché you see in so many modern movies--and they expect us to think this is historical.

Sarmatians = Persian Nomadic Tribesmen who spoke Farsi/Iranian/Persian (Indo-European language) I know, because my family is from Hyrcania.

This probably is not true but i gotta ask. Were Sarmatians related to Turks or Huns somehow? Its just their armor.....
ghettodagga 1 year ago
@ghettodagga Well... kind of. Huns invaded them. And even before it, they were "similiar"...

the scene is there purely to show how badass they all are

Wowe! wouldnt you need a longbow to make that shot!
saywhatyowhat 2 years ago 3
Turkish horn bows shoot farther than longbows. 900 yards is the record. longbows are maxed at about 400 yards.
