I think it's great that Loudon let her play with him. I didn't even know Tori was still playing music. It seems like Toris fans were more concerned with the shoes she was wearing than her piano playing. I wish Loudon would just stick to doing his solo shows.

Loudon was a last-minute replacement for someone else at this show so there weren't many people there for him and you could see he was caught off-guard, reading the lyrics here. Tori's fans were pretty shitty to him. He handled it really well with humor, though. Tori can usually count on about 1,000-2,000 of her obsessed loyal fans for a full concert, many of whom travel around the country to see her (like me). And believe me, I wish the worst her fans got at the shows was to yell "Nice shoes".

@jeolfccc i'm not a big fan of tori anymore ever since her sound became more adult contemporary, but tori still outsells venues all over the country and consistently puts out charting records regularly. i don't think she has any problem working or playing anywhere without loudon wainwright "letting her" lol. i actually think them playing onstage together would help him gain more exposure rather than her, since she has a pretty large and loyal fanbase.

Peter, Paul and Mary do a much superior version - look with the keywords 'peter paul mary jane' as their version is called Jane, Jane.

Ironic as Loudon has publicly said that he hates Peter, Paul and Mary. Still, it's great to see Loudon on such a recent appearance, hoping he will play a UK tour in 2010 after a three year break.
