i am from the uk i bought i phone from usa and i reset it but i got to a screen you were talking about on the video canyou please tell me how can i activate the iphone and can go to a home screen i bought it as an unlocked and work with uk sims and when i got it it was on the home screen but after reseting it all went,

now when i connected to itune it says the sim is not supported to activate can you help please

hey ive got a iphone 3g as well and ive got the same issue it was jailbroken but after i used the 3.0 update @ itunes i got the same screen as you....

To Activate you do not need a turbo sim (just do as you see on the video)

but to USE your iphone on any other network but at&t you will need a turbo sim.

I just baught an iPhone 3g 16GB and i upgraded it to 2.2.1, now it says that it has to activate with a "valid" sim.

I live in sweden so there is no way for me to get my hands on a O2 sim card....

what shall i do to make my phone work again?

i have an rebel sim for the 2.2 firmware but that's it.

what do i need?

If posable you need to jail break it now ,, and get an updated turbo sim *(witch you can order from me : )
