  • Very nice. Big hit for the late great Joe Dolan in Ireland back in the sixties

  • No it was 1965 with Buddy Emmons on Steel!

  • wasnt this recorded in 1959?

  • You can tell that despite his politeness, he is super annoyed with the crowd.

  • For any "Jones" fans out there. This is a hard Album to get. I found it on ebay and bought two copies because I plan on wearing one out. They are brand new CD's. I couldn't believe the price. The seller has more in stock as far as I know.

  • Its funny how right before they start the song someone from the band asks "what keys this D? And George corrects him saying A just in time.

  • @Buried3030 the guy who ask "what key is this D" was a young

    Gary Adams

  • @DRUMMERMANIAC1 I've been a friend of Gary and Don Adams for years, and yes Gary was real young back then. By the way, that flu he is talking about is a hang over. :) Gary had been in a bad car accident about 6 years ago, and it really messed him up. He is playing steel guitar now because his left hand is too messed up to play guitar much anymore, darn shame! My favorite guitar player and friend since I was 19 years old! Don's singing just got better and better over the years.

  • @Buried3030

You have good ears! I heard George say"A", but had to rewind it to listen a couple times to hear what the other voice said first.

  • none of that sappy star talk, just the straight dope " I don't feel that good, I aint going to smile" and he still sounds great,,,what a band he had then

  • Jones proving he is the Rolls-Royce of country music.

  • Special post. I like how George talks to the audience. Barb.

  • Even when George is sick he sounds great. I liked it when someone told him to smile. It sounds like he has a bad cold. Barb.

  • Yea he apologizes during the show about just getting over the flu and sounding a bit hoarse.

  • Classic George Jones,, Mac
