  • I NEED THAT D:<

  • Hooray you can draw homeless guys! lol

  • No delay?

  • ante mori lera ego eimai kaliteros

  • where can i get this song? please thank you

  • OK George.. Whats it gonna take to get that tablet bro? cmon!! i gotta intuos4.. that plus cash..

  • where can i buy one??

  • Do you like the Cintiq? It look so awesome. I have been debating for years about getting one. What is your opinion now that you have had it for a long time?

  • @narrowfeather I have the cintiq 12WX the intuos 3 technology. All I can tell you that instead of looking at the screen, you look at the tablet itself which has the built in LCD screen where you use the grip pen to draw on.

The only thing that I find a con is that the surface will get sweat from your hand and after a while you get a damp microfiber cloth to clean off the sweat and dry it off.

with the 21UX version you cant move it around and it is 21.1 inches.

get it only if you want.

  • Any tutorial or demo on Wacom Cintiq from which I could learn the basics and some tricks?

  • I do understand people who think that paper is better, because i prefer real paper in order to just draw. Never the less, i did once a poster in A3 format in paper, and i had a horrible time scanning it, the scanner lost some details and i had to retouch the thing, it became decent but never as good as the paper vertion (which i could not used as such). So, i would say, sometimes paper is best, sometimes wacom is best, depending on what you need.

  • You are the Boss!

  • Μόνο εγώ κάνω ωραία μάτια...ΕΙΣΤΕ ΟΛΟΙ ΑΧΡΗΣΤΟΙ! ;)

  • i like your style, its clean, nice and funny =D

  • I heard from someone that you can do the same thing for a lot less money, don't know if it's true though, he said something about a pencil and paper.....didn't really understand him.

  • @Raznorr LOL, ahh NO. The things you can do with this you can not do with paper or pencil alone! This is basically an art studio. Imagine all the paint, brushes, pens and pencils types, pastels, oils, canvas of everytype, airbrush, ets, all at your finger tips. So, no, you can't compare this to paper and pencil.

  • Who says its MS Paint.. You are all blind.

  • how much is worth that thing?? D=

    (the wacom cintiq)._.

  • I can create better art then this with a mouse....oh and cintiq is sexy

  • How you getting on with it after three years?

I got one recently , but had to return it as it had several dead pixels, just waiting on the replacement to ship.

  • It is flash, that's why the lines are so smooth, right?

  • need sth similar t cintiq but not that much expensive...plsss help...i basicly need sth t draw...i want it t be somehow cheap but gooood plss helpppp :/

  • but people, do you seriously think that a man who spent 4000 dollars for such a tablet uses microfuck PAINT?! Holy Moly, what have we become.

  • how much ist cost?

  • @monkeyzeetube Ah, yes, yes. Well, thanks for the "advice." I'm afraid I won't be taking it, however :)

  • sorry dude..didnt mean to offend you..my bad...this video was 2 years old and for sure you are a good artist even then and even a better artist now..I havent seen any of your work..do you have a website? dont worry I wont be a dick and a critic.cheers..peace..

  • LOL

  • @GeorgeComics NOW thats good advice

  • Welcome to today's world of technology and efficiency.

  • The music is not "Spanish Fly" by Van Halen as the video says. If anyone could tell me what the music is called, I'd greatly appreciate it.

  • It was Spanish Fly before YouTube made me change it. Now it's just some generic YouTube AudioSwap track.

  • thats MS Paint =3

  • It's actually Macromedia (now Adobe) Flash.

  • Are you using photoshop?

  • looks like its MS paint

  • it is ms paint :)

  • Good Lord, why does everyone think this is MS Paint? It's Flash.

  • because you have the toolbox right where it is in MS paint :/ and there is nothing else on the screen.

  • @GeorgeComics That app looks nothing like flash... Then again, if you hide absolutely all palettes flash would look like that.. exactly like ms paint.. so to answer your question.. Everyone thinks it's MS Paint because it looks exactly like it...

  • @GeorgeComics because of the side thing to where you draw looks like the ms paint toolbar.

  • @GeorgeComics because they're idiots

  • @GeorgeComics It does look a lot like ms paint the way the stage is laid out and the tools and i cant see the timeline lol

  • OMG you use hundreds of dollars buying a great tablet and then you use the crappiest program in the entire universe?!?! 0.o

  • It's only "the crappiest program in the entire universe" if you don't know how to use it. I don't like it too much myself, but those who spend the time to get to know it (much as a beginner would spend time getting to know Photoshop or Paint Tool SAI or Open Canvas) can work extremely well with it, plus you don't have to buy it.

  • @94thts its not the crappiest program in the world its not ms paint its flash

  • @weltar1995 Sorry, thought it was ms paint :)

Well what he drew could be done in ms paint anyway :P ...

  • @94thts yeah maybe so but with flash you can animate the pics XD

  • @94thts its not ms paint its flash

  • lol at first i thought it was a duck cuz of the nose x3

  • i got one of these for my birtgday today

  • happy birthday! lucky bum! I had to can out 2000 for mine all by myself! grats though must have been a good day for you :P

  • your lucky, mine cost me $4000. and its been a week and im still waiting for it.

  • Where did you buy it from?

  • gamma computers new zealand

  • @geekgeneration

    4000???

its like 2000 here in belgium :O

  • mouthwatering

  • I second that

  • feo...

  • i use a wacom Volito2 (its a little crapier then bamboo one)

im thinking of buying an cintic 12wx

will i poop my self from the difference?

  • you will poop yourself ;)

    i have a volito 2 and an intuos 3..

    they are uncomparable..

so... you definitly will with cintiq ;-)

  • awesome

  • Buen trabajo

  • Comment removed

  • u got a cintiq to us ms paint.. hahah

  • That's actually Macromedia (now Adobe) Flash. Durka durrrr!

  • ha sry . but it does look life mspaint from here. but i knew seeing as u got a cintiq you'd be suing something better than paint.

Just wondering, can you use the cintiq as a secondary monitor/primary? How have you found it? appreciate the help, im thinking of getting one.

  • for a second i thought the music was STUART HAMM, but i was wrong v_v , or was i ?

  • The guy you drew looks a bit like gordon freeman...half life guy?....no?... no...

  • i agree ^^

  • oooooooooooo my god when i get one of these my animations will be on point!! i am soo gonna rob your house haha hmmm

  • which one is better? 20WSX or 21UX?

  • Man I so wan't one of these. I want the 21UX. Only problem is I don't have 2500$

    I'm 15 so I can't get a job yet..

    I guess I'll have to wait, seeing as I don't think I'll be getting a 2,500$ birthday/christmas gift. -.-

  • hahaha im 15 too! i hella want it.. Imma save up for it. Lunch money.. Birthday... Christmas.. New years.. im asian. i get money.. yeah!

    :|

  • does it have to be hooked up to a main computer for it to work

  • how much did that cost?

  • circa 2.400 $

  • Is it possible to also use the Cintiq for things other then what one whould do in programs such as photoshop/coral painter, ect. For example, be a replacement for a mouse using the internet?

  • Oh yeah...I mean, basically, the pen is nothing BUT a replacement for a mouse, with some built-in capabilities with certain programs like Photoshop. However, if you're only going to use it for navigation purposes and not graphic design purposes, I'd recommend getting a simple $100-$200 graphics tablet instead of a $2500 Cintiq!

  • Oh man, I've been wanting one of these things so much. It's going to take a bite out of my wallet though. A whole month's worth of my paycheck :'(

  • but dude, if your an artist it's freaking worth it. I get mine next week! can't freaking wait! X)

  • Didn't say I wasn't :D

  • didn't say you weren't :D

  • its been a month. so how is it?

  • It's awesome, I hardly use my mouse or keyboard anymore. I use it for practically all my applications.

  • awesome

  • that ooks to bid for me... a tad smaller and it would work.

i have a Wabom bamboo one running under Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.04, now that rocks!, but it is a tad to small thou...

  • I know this is probably the stupidest question anyone has ever asked you, but I was wondering how it feels when you draw on it. Does it feel like your are drawing on the glass of a TV, or as if you are drawing on a regular tablet? Also, is it comfortable? Does it feel as natural as people say?

Your help would be very much appreciated :D.

  • The 21UX feels different from its smaller cousin, the 12WX, which has a much "glassier" feel. The 21UX has a more textured screen that feels like you're drawing on a standard Wacom tablet. It is very comfortable to work with; more comfortable than the 12WX because of the large screen size. As far as how "natural" it feels, I've been using tablets so long that it never felt unnatural to me, but if this is your first foray into the tablet world, it might take some getting used to! Good luck.

  • so george- u have both cintiq models??? is that right?

im thkning about buying one- but trying to decide which one is right for me...can u compare the two for me and which u would choose if u do graphic design, phot touchups and alot of animation work- such as after effects- i also do work in viedo editing- so i want a versatile one....i guess the portabilty of the 12xw is nice and appealing- but the size of the older models is nice too...if u could only have one- which one would it be??

  • If I could ONLY have one, I would have to choose this one, the 21UX--however, that's disregarding how much more it costs. I personally think the 21UX is the better product overall, but that the 12WX is the better value for your money. It's a tough decision!

  • Do you know of a cheap tablet you can get for around 100-400 with a screen doesn't have to be big.

  • Right now, the cheapest you can get for a tablet with a screen is the Wacom 12wx, which retails for about $1000 USD.

  • damn

  • is that the 20WSX or the 21UX?

  • 21ux

  • theres a glove u can buy to prevent oily :p

  • you hold the pen really funny... anything to do with the buttons on the pen? Does the screen get really oily?

  • dont think they exist

  • Of course they don't. It's Hollywood FX :))

  • can anyone help me out with a drawing tablet thats maybe 100-150 dollars and you can see your computer screen on the tablet?(and it has to be 4 windows...)

  • You can barely get a standard graphics tablet for $100, let alone a Cintiq-style one with a screen!

  • O ok then nvrmind....

  • Love your videos.

Question: Is it possible to have a second monitor in addition to the Cintiq 12WX, that is set at a higher resolution while in mirror mode. In other words can the 12WX small screen mirror a portion of another larger monitor's screen. In this way the Artist could refer to the large monitor for a full view of the art work, while using the Cintiq's small screen to work on different areas of it. I hope that makes sense and thanks for your time.

  • I have the 12wx, as well as a video posted of it. You can use it as a dual display setup, and use a button on the Cintiq to switch between monitors. My video explains it better.

  • Thanks DeviantRahll for your awesome video. Very cool. Photoshop has the ability to have multiple windows open of the same art at the same time but the programs I use do not - Painter and others. My question is does the Cintiq itself, with it's clone or mirror mode, have the ability to show the same art on itself, while at the same time show a more complete view of the same art on another monitor that has a greater resolution? Thanks.

  • If you're mimmicking the main monitor, no, but if you use it as a true dual display, PS allows you multiple windows of the same thing, which is exactly how I paint. One zoomed in, one zoomed out.

  • My understanding is that The Cintiq can mirror its screen onto a second monitor without the need for PS. Let's say my second monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Do I get a stretched out or zoomed view of the cintiq's 1280 x 800 screen or can I get on the second monitor whatever the added pixel real estate allows?

  • For example, if on the w12x's screen we see 2/3 of a picture, could we see the entire complete picture on the second monitor? Not the same thing zoomed. That's what I'm trying to find out. Thanks.

  • If the cintique can work in a dual monitor setup, no need for 'mirroring' just have the painter (or whatever app) with part of the window in that and the rest in your larger monitor... IF that's how the cintique works? FIIK I guess that was no help really. haha

  • It depends on your videocard

  • Im liking your demo videos. Its pushing me further to buy a cintiq. I have a question again about lagging. I notice you like doing a cartoon style where your lines are very deliberate. I want a cintiq to do 2d animation, and I do fast and rough gestural stuff.. will cintiq handle it?

  • It's more a question of "can your computer handle it" than "can the Cintiq handle it," really...I have noticed that on my parents' slow, old computer, fast lines often become jagged and blocky because the computer has difficulty processing the fast strokes. But at work, the computer is a monster and the Cintiq can keep up with it, so there's no problem.

  • Seems as if it's lagging... the lines don't show the moment you draw them with your pen. or is it just me?

  • I think the video sort of makes it look like it's lagging, because when drawing with it, I notice no lag whatsoever. Maybe it's a minuscule amount of lag, but if so, it's nothing that has ever bothered me after many months of use.

  • how do you like the 12wx compared to this?

  • If you throw price out the window, it breaks down like this: The 21UX has far more real estate on the screen to work with, and that's a huge plus, but really that's all it's got over the 12WX. The 12WX actually has a higher contrast ratio and, to my eyes, a crisper display. They really packed a lot of pixels into this screen. When you throw the price tags back in, I think the 12WX is actually a better value, but the 21UX is the better of the two if money is not an issue.

  • They retail for $2500 USD.

  • im owrking very hard to get this but i dunno how much it costs

  • how much did the tablet costs u?

  • someone are giving Cintiq for free... PLEASE!!!

You use a Cintiq to do that?!!!

  • Aww lucky!

  • lucky noob lol

  • oh man u are lucky...xD

    i like it u table

  • *stares* I love Van Halen... I'm sorry, what was the video about? :P

  • lucky bastard =P

Naw just kiddin' you prolly worked your ass off for that thing :)

    congrats m8

  • I finally worked up to a 9x12 Intuous2 this past year. My next goal is the Cintiq! - after I hit the lottery! lol

Naw...I've gotta get on the ball and sell a few paintings. That's my next investment! :>

  • i got the 9x12 Intuous2 to :)

but i'm saving my cash up for the cinteq

    one day i'll own one

  • Getting mine in about a month... GOD I can't wait!

  • I got my Cintiq two days ago and have almost not left it since. It is just the best. Works great with Corel Painter, ToonBoom and Manga Studio plus Photoshop of course.

  • I once knew this kid that was supposed to go see Van Halen with me. Guess his mom threw out his ticket. That show rocked face. So did this video.

  • My Cintiq is being delivered tomorrow!! The wait will soon be over. Thanks for this video. It's helped to hold me over until it comes. I'll put up a video of mine soon.

  • wow...lets see, i only need to work for...3 more years before i can afford one!!

  • me too!

  • wow! you make drawing look so simple :D excelent drawing :) and i'd wish i had a tablet like that, but chances for me getting a job were i need it is kind of small...

  • Oh gosh I would love to have a Cintiq.

Unfortunately I don't have 2500 on me xD

  • I like your cartoon! Also, those look so badass. I have a Wacom myself, but it's a 4x5 Intuos 3. I want a Cintiq so badly now <3

  • I like little cartoony art the most so of course I would love what you drew ^-^ and Itry to be loose and at ease when I draw but it comes out all stressed when I'm trying too hard Xo

  • I wish I had enough patince to save up for one of those tablets but since I'm not a serious artist and I just do art to illustrate small scenes from the stories I write and for fun. People say I am very good but I say I'm okay. I just need soemthing to digitally color my art so I am getting a wacom graphire4 4x5 for only $89.82. Just need it so I can do basic stuff not something like make a famous art peice or anything. You are a fantastic artist and you have inspired me to do art more =]

  • Thanks! Yeah I also have a Wacom Graphire3 6x8 and it is still an excellent pad. A little dated, but it still works for what I need it for. Nothing quite compares to the Cintiq, though. Glad you've been inspired to do more art!

  • i love that tablet its the best on the market in my opinion..

  • I wish i had one =( i've been wishing for one for about a year now, still not even close in my savings on getting one of these babies =( someday i'll get one..... *i hope*

  • I hate you because I dont have money for that
