Because I was SL of the recon squad with only one more squad member. I got the kit to handle APCs or other heavier vehicles if we were in trouble during our forward recon.

A recon squad is a squad who spots ennemy infantery and vehicule movements. They usually laser target for planes or attack choppers.

They mostly infiltrate ennemy controled areas, try to find some general view spoting positions and try to stay at a certain distance from the battle.

Squad has 2 or 3 soldiers . Needed kits are SL or Snipers. On Kashan, a Heavy AT kit is usefull too, as the man usually has a good view on the whole battlefield, and therefor on ennemy vehicules.

yeah i reamamber when my squad did something like that, we where 3 difrent squads, and we moved in in choppers, ofcourse plus a choper squad, but we where killing them, landed 3 secs, out of the chopper and pwened them, then the choppers gave us covering fire with some miniguns, but to bad we dindt have homves, but like we always meet up every week end, if someone wants some fucking cool action in teamplay just e-mail me.

Yes it does, but the respawn times are much higher than in vBF2.

I can, but there's a lot of stuff that affects your spawn time and the manual has a better explanation.

it depends on what you do, if you TK then you gain more time to respawn or if you kill a civillian 120s penalty i think or something.... etc
