there is an english translation. i had original series. someone swiped it on me. I believe you can find segments in here,,I have a copy of all waza but it is so dam poor in quality. and I believe it was 1980's

It's Kodokan judo or Kosen judo?

@KievAMF it's kodokan judo. kosen judo is part of kodokan judo. bjj is also from kodokan judo.

@KievAMF yeah u can say that cause kosen judo is only practiced by the universities while kodokan judo follows olympic ijf rules. however, kosen judo is part of kodokan judo. the history between the two goes back decades.

@KievAMF yes and no..i see what u r saying about the kodokan, unfortunately, the kodokan follows ijf rules. i wish the ijf would change alot of their rules cause they have ruined judo, both in tachiwaza and newaza. the american judo federation and aau have developed a new offshoot of judo that allows more newaza.

@moelicious416 as I understand Kodokan follows olympic rules on Olympic Games only. many training methods and katas of Kodokan had left apart olympic judo

@KievAMF it's sad but the kodokan does not place emphasis on newaza. they train for olympic judo, so they spend almost all if not all of their time on tachiwaza. many old school judokas are complaining about this. like sato, where an interview with a bjj magazine, he said, there will be no newaza specialists in the future. the only one we have now is koji komura.
