Hmph. Notice the Joker-gas DID make Ferret laugh uncontrollably, but his face did NOT contort into a 'Joker'-grimace. Why? animation challenges may be 1 reason. But lets read too much into this: It could have been a less effective gas. Or Maybe Bang-Babies are immune to the 'contort'-factor. Interesting that Ferret didn't sence the presence of the gas on Joker considering his detecting ionized oxygen. Ferret's power may have been known to Joker & to avoid detection, Joker made it less effective.

Now there's an interesting though process, in one of the later episodes of Static Shock, Batman tells Static that Robins with the Teen Titans. They should have made an episode or two of Static Shock with the Teen Titans, Cyborg would have hated Static just because of his name.

Is Static Shock even a DC comic-book franchise? I am referring to all of the characters, not just Static. I know that the there have been instances where Static encountered DC heroes, but I don't know if the villains in this show also appeared in comic books as well.

@JMMPR24 static started on a comicbook company called Milestone that tried to bring more people of color into comics.It was doing pretty well but not as good as many thought it should have been.It was bought out by DC Comics who really liked the static line and Static was as far as I know is the only title they kept intact.Over all I like what they did.The changes they did to the character were minor but I do wish they had kept characters like Dusk (She-Bang) the way they were.
