Yeah, it is part of our 'popular culture' with its many default. That's is why it is interesting to see your own version...

I think the film is excellent and very natural cinema (I meant this version of mine was bad and not Blier's....).

To me the film is bit like a nature video on the human animal, his troglodite habits, maybe like a swan bouncing off a lake we have instead Depardieu bouncing off a woman !

I still think it has aged well, the opening of the film is engaging, and the characters actions always sees them rushing on....
