The point is that M2K is and will be the best Brawl player until he retires simply cause of the fact that his godly melee skills carried to brawl which doesnt need all that technicality that melee did and he is pretty much the best brawl player thanks to that. He is the best MK and that wont change unless another Melee player gets into Brawl and picks up MK which i dont see happening anytime soon. Point is Shippuden, even if you picked up MK you would never be as good as M2K(in a week?hahaha no)

Personally I think this vid is terrible. Not only are the combos not that great but all of the opponents seem... weak. I could read all of their moves before they even performed them. And I don't find M2K to be all that good in Brawl. To me, he's just the best KNOWN Brawler in the world.

Denying the fact that maining meta knight does help would be a lie. His is good, there is no question, but its sad to see such a good player main a character that is an arm and a leg better then all other characters, it takes away some of the magic.

@AllAboutTheInternet They probably wouldn't be labeled 'pro' then, there's plenty of good players who main low tiers San, Xyro, FOW, Legan, Flameleon are great examples.
@lilskaters7 MK is can be cheap but those top pros who main him use him legitly, and guys like you fail to see the difference in that. True he's tough to beat but so are Snake, Diddy, Olimar, etc. If you spent half the time you spend complaining about him learning the MU and how to play to play against him you wouldnt have any problems. M2K is a legit MK and pros know how to play him, and this shows he's good without the cheapness.

@OneTrueBlaze M2K has LOST less than five tournaments in Brawl all together. And that's all over the US, with regular attendance. He flies in to all these tournaments in New York, Washington, California, etc. all on the winnings he gets from winning the tournaments.

Puerto Rico's pretty good and is part of the U.S. Their high level players were able to beat Atomsk and Inui at Genesis and place 5th in doubles. Keep in mind that these were only HIGH level players, not the top. Imo, I'd love to see this 7 year old kid play M2K. Winning 4 tournaments in which top players could've easily gone to is impressive for someone so young.
I also think you're M2K's top fan because I never saw anyone supporting him that much on the boards and on youtube.
@999windowsill I don't see how stating facts makes me a fan. I know M2K is a top player in Brawl and Melee. Obviously that is good for a 7 year old as well, but there's a load of difference between Atomsk and M2K. The difference between "could've easily gone to" and attended is also a giant leap.

Wait, so why are people arguing over Brawl...
Within days of Brawls release, it was obviously going to be a game you played for fun, why? Air dodging, and MK. But just because M2K plays MK doesn't make him bad, he is easily one of the greatest melee players ever...
Why does he beat every other MK player out there?

@SHIPPIDDGESUXBIGCOCK I'd like to see you play Metaknight as well as M2K can. If he sucks, that means anyone who uses MK would be doing as well as M2K in tournaments. Nobody wins as much Brawl tournies as M2K does. I use TL, and im not thrilled at Metaknights either, but he IS the best Brawl player right now, and his tournament record backs him up. He dosen't need to prove anything as he's already done it.
And duh, ganon is low tier even though I've seen good ganons.

idk what the fuck nintendo was thinking when they made mk. did they test the game at all with pro ssbb players or did they give the game to 7 yearolds and not take any notes at all. mk is the most op thing i have ever seen in a fighting game. never the less m2k is 1 of the best if not the best ssbb players of all time.

@lilskaters7 MK is can be cheap but those top pros who main him use him legitly, and guys like you fail to see the difference in that. True he's tough to beat but so are Snake, Diddy, Olimar, etc. If you spent half the time you spend complaining about him learning the MU and how to play to play against him you wouldnt have any problems. M2K is a legit MK and pros know how to play him, and this shows he's good without the cheapness.

@Triforce9426 I meant the variety of people who use him use cheap moves. I really can't see the difference because a lot of people use him the same... And I do know how play a good Meta Knight. I use Toon Link or Ness against MK.

I really doubt if you knew "how (to) play a good Meta Knight" that you would still be complaining that he is cheap. Sure he is the best character in the game and has more options then any other character but that doesn't make him "cheap" it makes him really good.

there is barley anyone even in northamerica that could challenge him
and a very very small handful of people who have taken sets off of him
he has had more consistent tournament placings then anyone in smash history second to no one but mango in melee

@OneTrueBlaze M2K has LOST less than five tournaments in Brawl all together. And that's all over the US, with regular attendance. He flies in to all these tournaments in New York, Washington, California, etc. all on the winnings he gets from winning the tournaments.
Your 7 year old brother has nothing on him but some local wins in a no name country for the game. Fact.

Puerto Rico's pretty good and is part of the U.S. Their high level players were able to beat Atomsk and Inui at Genesis and place 5th in doubles. Keep in mind that these were only HIGH level players, not the top. Imo, I'd love to see this 7 year old kid play M2K. Winning 4 tournaments in which top players could've easily gone to is impressive for someone so young.
I also think you're M2K's top fan because I never saw anyone supporting him that much on the boards and on youtube.

@999windowsill I don't see how stating facts makes me a fan. I know M2K is a top player in Brawl and Melee. Obviously that is good for a 7 year old as well, but there's a load of difference between Atomsk and M2K. The difference between "could've easily gone to" and attended is also a giant leap.
Forgive me for the ignorance to the fact that Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory off-coast.

@OneTrueBlaze I have no idea how you gauge that argument. He's not the top melee player. He is arguably still the best Brawl player though.
But melee players have years of experience beyond the youth of Brawl metagame, so yes it would probably be more challenging to play him in melee.
