you can move somewhat. you hold the wii remote and nun chuk at your sides and move the upper half of your body to either side, and your guys upper half will move like so. its only for dodging hits though, you cant actually walk.

It is VERY fun if you buy some games you like. Wii Sports is fun for the first couple of weeks, I only play it when my relatives comes and says "Ohhh, cool". :D Also, the channels do pretty much it themselves. Buy a Wii and a game you would like. You won't regret it.
