@atmkws yes it is a concept, Tony and Geni are great actors , to have that much emotion, even when niether one has been thru any of it. wow it must of been hard imagining all of it! I NEVER believed that it was seduction on either part even tho I knew even back then that Laura had unresolved feelings for Luke and vice versa.. Luke voiced that is was rape and that is exactly what I saw back then. Glad that was aspect was cleared up in the rape revisit in 99..

I always thought the rape was sugar coated back then and explored more years later. It's even more strange that the whole country watched L&L's wedding when this was common knowledge.
The interesting thing about this is that Luke - unlike most rapists on TV - has never "sugar-coated" what he did. On most of these shows, the guys all act as though it was something else that went down.

Bobbie's character was really interesting back then.....she tried to convince Scotty Baldwin that she was pregnant with his baby so he would marry her.....she was also a prostitute prior to meeting Scottie.
Wow, the acting was great back when soaps had great writing and actors such as Genie,Tony and Jackie were first rate. I so miss those days:(!!!

That song will always be Luke and Laura's song. When I hear this song I always think that's the song that was playing when Luke raped Laura.

This was waaaay before Lucky was conceived, Laura was kidnapped for years before she and Luke finally left town and she had Lucky.

Yeah, Bobbie was a former prostitute and that is why she had self-esteem issues although she was the 'strongest character' on the set.
