I looked at all your posts bassman. I see what blue means about feel, but I looked at some of the rude folks pages. They ain't got nothin on you, or they've got nothing period. Your young, you rock, keep on choppin.
i think you were trying to do too much. there was a bunch of unneeded stuff thrown in that made it more your own, but it sounded way worse than the original.
that's a sexy jazz though.
PS. no such thing as a bass guitar. it's an electric bass.
I disagree, I hear alot of bass guitar players now days but the bass players are thinning out :) They need to get some old duck dunn, james jamerson, and some beatle's songs out and learn the basics. It helps define what the bass is in music. Then you can go back to victor, marcus, jaco, clarke, nitti, dickens, sheehan, ext. and you will then understand that they all do their job in the music very well, and Then stuff alot of character on top of their groove. Marcus M.
Whoops, I missed one good point. If you are all about making slap and pop groove and work through a whole show. Check out larry graham, and his old band sly and the family stone. He made his slap lines groove just as well as any finger player in band situations. Important basics for any funk player.
Its worth checking out this guy's videos. They're all quite beyond 'absolute slop'...
Don't listen to pricks like him. I think you're doing just fine, plenty of room for improvement, but you're clearly musical - unlike this creep! Keep practicing & enjoying yourself!
not bad. the only advice i'd say though is you should get the feel down, because some notes were too staccato, and some were too long. good job, over all, post more rush vids.
very cool.

I don't really like the sound of that bass. I prefer the Rick or the Geddy Jazz bass tone. But still kudos for your chops!

yeah it wasn't that good man, you shorted your measures a little (hard to notice). You picked in the ending but your beginnning was rough.
