As i know Jupiter is farther from sun , and Venus is close than us to sun. How can Venus be seen with jupiter. Looking from any angle and putting their location , is impossible.... it`s like you are looking forward and backward at the same time. Practically their allignment isn`t possible.
@DVlad93 you need to think about it a bit more. Altho you're correct, they are in that order, they can still both be seen to be in the same direction from earth. The planets aren't all in a straight line. So if Earth is on one side of the sun, and Venus and Jupiter are further round the orbit of the sun, then you would see venus, then behind Venus, Jupiter. Venus would still be closest to the sun, but it doesn't have to be between the Sun and Earth to be closest. Its confusing :p
hey wtf i live in el paso and about a year ago this happened to the moon was upside down and it looked like a sad face i guess it is just the angle we each see it right, i have piks if anyone wats to see :D
Venus is also quite bright due to its highly reflective atmosphere - so reflective that it, along side of our Moon, is considered the brightest object in the solar system (Venus has very reflective high level clouds, and most of its atmosphere consists of sulfuric particles).
That happened last year
