So can this Short Shifter fit in a 2010 V6? Haven't found any for a V6 only the HURST SHIFTER, but I don't like the still plate coming out.

I just installed my new MGW short throw shifter and I have to push really hard to the right to get the shifter to go up into reverse. Is this normal due to the stiffer shifter springs or is it possible the shifter isn't aligned correctly?

@xbryan666x IT sounds like your reverse solenoid lockout got somehow unplugged it should not be hard to get into reverse

check it under the car on the drivers side of the tranny

I also just noticed my engine light is on. Could this be related?

@xbryan666x its very possible. chdeck the connection it may be loose or unplugged altogther
