what the hebrews have to do with the phoenician alphabet?nothing that's what,it was created in Gebal which is the city of Byblos(modern day Jbeil in Lebanon),one of the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world if not the oldest.
Thanks for addressing Egypt this guy is hilarious YWH bless his soul .How can Hebrew have derived or been created in Mesopotamia. We are so blind if it was a snake it would of bit us.Our bible translate a story ,basically is the story of a ppl my ppl LEFT Egypt so how or WHY would they use a Mesopotamian influenced writing when they were Egyptians
As slaves, one could imagine the need and desire to set themselves apart from their masters: ethnographically and linguistically. It would only be fitting that they take on the language of their father Abraham, an Aramean. Of course, language evolves and the language they used was not Aramaic, but its sister language or Canaanite (what we call Hebrew).
@72757373 The written Armenian language that we know today is a late invention, part cyrilic, part farsi, the spoken language is very old, but the written language is relatively new. And I 'm fairly certain Urartia was a proto-Armenian nation.
Proto-Canaanite script began ~ 1400 BCE, Phoenician script began ~1050 BCE and Aramaic script began ~800 BCE. Therefore this makes Aramaic script a child and not a sister.
A wonderful presentation! Thank you - regards

Why do you keep asserting an Armenian adoption of the Cuneiform system? Armenian was never written in Cuneiform. Urartian is not Armenian.

Canaanite is a West Semitic language - sister to Aramaic.
