I Love this performance and so does the audience/fans in the balconies and the rows back from the artist. Just listen too how LOUD they cheered and clapped (there was even a scream or two). The artist never show to much emotion at these awards, however Miranda Lambert (who I like) had a look like damn they just stole the show!!

I get that this is the CMA's, and that Sugarland is the country artist. But let's not forget two things: 1) This is Matt Nathanson's song, not Sugarland's, and 2) Matt Nathanson is a brilliant live performer.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Sugarland, and although I'm not a country music fan, I can recognize their talent. All that said, I'm a bit incredulous that most comments on here fail to recognize the genius that is Matt Nathanson. Give the man his due.

What can you say that hasn't already been said about the brilliance, voice control & intensity of all her performances. Few people have that magic. So cute her mouthing words of the other in a duet, that just is part of her intensity, energy and enjoyment of performing which shes been doing forever. I believe Jenn would explode if she could not sing. ;) She is truly gifted, so relaxed performing & turns a good song into something iconic like she did with the latest Gaga duet of "You And I".

I've never been a big sugerland fan, but Jennifer Nettles totally won me over with this song with this song and performance with Matt Nathanson. He just doesn't share much because he is a very private person. If you really want to know more about him, seek out the interview that he did with Howard Stern. I'll be honest, as a long time fan it felt really strange (and almost kind of stalkerish) hearing him talk so much about his family, but you will get a lot of answers :)

I haven't listened to much country music in the past 20 years. This performance kind of brought me back, even though "country" isn't all that country anymore.

This girl has one of the most remarkable voices I have ever heard. Extremely versatile, plus she has the power and control to ALMOST put her in a league with Streisand, Aretha, maybe even Ella. She transcends her genre.

I love this performance. I love the contrast of how they look, the lyrics of the parts they sing and their voices. Matt is grungy, his lyrics more direct and honest, his voice raw. The girl is more put together, looking classy, her lyrics also honest but more poetic, I suppose, her voice good but classic.

Lyrics say they 'know it's wrong', probably cause of said differences, hence they keep getting close to each other on stage but suddenly backs away. Just a lovely performance.
