Senoirs will be denied healthcare to afford paying for illegals. This makes sense politically, because La Raza can herd them to the polls like cattle with the promise of free government goodies. With enough of them in the country, Obama could become more powerful than a South American dictator. Then we'll never get rid of him. That's how Hugo Chavez did it.

The underlying problem here is the mentality of people who spout words such as " I'd like Congress to give me the same health care benefits they enjoy." I would like congress to give me NOTHING. With all the jacked up laws that the government has "given" me, we could not pay cash for our uninured adult son's surgery. Nobody would touch him without insurance because of the liability risk. So he ended up with a free surgery. We've already got socialized medicine people. What a crock.

The elderly need to wake up. This bill as proposed on page 425 suggest the elderly commit suicide rather than receive healthcare! Can you believe that! Yes, it's true! Furthermore, the savings (so to speak) come from disallowing the elderly healthcare (25% of healthcare expense is for the elderly). Wake-up America!!

This appears to be a case of wanting to disassemble Medicare under the guise of providing care for the poor. The elderly are amazingly quiet or stupid and the poor couldn't care less because they simply go to the emergency room as needed. Drinking the Koolaid isn't a strong enough description. It's something quite more powerful than that.

Why do they give you an 11,000 page report to read but only give you less than 2 minutes to speak on it? I wish these people could walk in my shoes for a couple of weeks so they see what real life is about. They are SO OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY.

Vern, I'm one of the "silent majority" but now feel the need to speak up about universal health care. I'd like Congress to give me the same health care benefits they enjoy.

Until we secure our borders, any idea of universal health care is ludicrous. It's ludicrous anyhow but now you get the added bonus of caring for our illegal population. When will this government recognize illegal as what the name implies? It's time to take this govt down. I am for starting a movement for all Americans to withhold paying their taxes as a show of solidarity and to let our leadership know that they no longer represent the will of the people.

Your part of Congress amend the, bill or better yet advocate Single Payer.

Otherwise you look a Health Insurance Industry tool...afterall they are inve$ting $1.100,000/day into the Congress and Senate to kill teh bill.

Sounds good...but remember, 20 million illegal immigrants would also benfit from Obamacare. They are already bankrupting social security. Why do we find it our issue to provide the whole world with healthcare. This means anyone who can get in this country illegaly, is entitled to healthcare. Lets also make sure that the small businesses are NOT employing illegal immigrants
