Asiatic Lions are diffrent from african Lion, and Ofc a Tiger can kill a Lone Lion.... aswell as a Male lion cna kill a tiger its all depends on the indivdual.... Not all tigers fights or are the same as the toher tiger, and same goes for the Lion.
And the tiger are longer AND stronger then lions. Like the bengal tiger. The bengal tiger is 200 to 300cm. and more, and its height in the shoulder is 90 to 110 cm. The african lion is long 147 to 195 and its height in the shoulder is also from 90 to 110 cm. but the african lion looks bigger then thebengal tiger just becose of his mane. The bengal tiger could kill a lion but a siberian tiger would 100%. The siberian is long 300 to 400 cm. And its height in the shulder is 110 to 120 cm.

Yes, a tiger could kill a lone lion. Think about this, tiger lives alone and he can easily take down eny large prey, but the lions live in packs and it would take 2 or 3 lionesses to kill a larger prey. AND when thei live in packs, the females hunt for the males becose, i think you all heard that when females hunt and when thei come with a dead prey, the males first feed them selfs, then the females and the cubs eats the leftovers.

Think about this, tiger lives alone and he can easily take down eny large prey, but the lions live in packs and it would take 2 or 3 lionesses to kill a larger prey. What you have to realise is that they are talking about captive asiatic lions. This is not a rewilding project this is a reintroduction project, they think that the wild bengal tigers pose a threat to a single captive asiatic lion.
And rightly so.
However if you were to go back to when the asiatic lions were wild you'd see a different concern as they were far more numerous than the tigers.
And of course they are not talking about the far more dangerous African lion.

Lions hunt Buffalo in packs. While Tigers one-on-one hunts Gaurs (about twice ther size of a buffalo), Indian/asian elephants, Rhinos, and bears on a regular basis. And tigers have more fighting experience Plus Tigers are faster, stronger pound for pound and heavier, i'm surprised this is even a debate, the Tiger is Superior on a one-on-one basis in every way. Especially in a jungle where a tiger will just ambush the lion, in a open field the tiger will out maneuver and then over power the lion.

Would it help if i tell you that according to research, male tigers usually die after a fight due to injuries such as loss of blood or infection, and rarely because of neck/throat bites? If tigers do not attempt to bite the neck, then how would the lion's mane help?
Lions fight an average on 4-5 fights per year (according to Lionresearch. org) and Tigers around 3-4 fights per year (valmik Thapar), how much fighting experience does a lion have over a tiger? Not much. LOL.

it you dont bite the neck, there is NO instantanious death. And honestly, i dont beleive those statistics, lions are constantly defending there pride from youthful makes looking to take it over. Not only this but the prey ferosity, and size that lions take out shows that lions mean buisness. Not to mentin the main. If the lion can get to the tigers neck and the tiger cannot get to the lions neck, well thats a serious disadvantage considering thats how big cats KILL there pray!

do the research...Tigers are better fighters, more ill say "athletic"....they get off on that shit, Lions althogh obviously strong, powerful etc,,....dont even care about matching up to Tigers, they kill what they want anyway without needing to deal with them. It's really as simple as that.

i doubt lions or tigers would fuck with a full grown elephant! I've never seen lions or tigers attack full grown elehpants just baby ones!

tigers do hunt and kill elephants but rare. However many tigers have attacked domesticated elephants those used to carry tourists in national parks, and some wild elephants have scars that suggest attacks by tigers Asian elephants have also been reported to get very nervous when they smell a tiger's scent. It seems then that tigers are not really afraid of elephants, and do attack them. Young elephants however, are more often the target of predatory attacks by tigers.
