@1983ans You're not actually serious are you? The movie is fake, if it was real, did people just march into the witches house and grab the fucking camera? No, because it's a fucking movie.
I love the foreshadowing in this film and the fact they only hint at what is going on, the PA series has jumped the shark by showing and explaining way too much, the mystery of the BW still perseveres, it still exists in the imagination and that's what makes it so enduring on a horror level
I remember, two years ago, I went camping in the woods near my house with my friend. During the night my friend woke up at around 2:30 am and we both heard laughing outside the tent.
I think it was when they end up going deep into the forest, they end up "somewhere else" without knowing it. This is where they find a replica of the House, with Rustin still inside it. It must be Rustin who killed them too. The stories said he would kill children but make one stand in the corner to listen. That's why thingy is in the corner when they... well, do they actually die?
Here's a question I put to all of you: AT the end when mike and what's her face get taken out, the question I put to you is this: was it Josh who ended up killing them, or the witch :) ? I just want to see what your opinions are
It's entirely left up to your imagination (which makes it even scarier) :) What I want to know is, how did the filmmakers end up at Rustin Parr's house when the Curse of the Blair Witch documentary stated that the townspeople of Burkittsville burned the house to the ground after he was hanged? :O
@MichaelVoz good question. If his house was burned down after he was hanged, then how the hell do the film makers find trhe damn house. While I do not know, one thing I always wohjdered was, the site rustin built his house, could it have been the site where the blair witch was supposedly hanged and killed?
@InflatableKMH Some people argue that the filmmakers went back in time when Heather touched one of the stick figures, and they found Rustin Parr's house before he was hanged and Rustin murdered them in the basement. However, I don't buy this theory. There are many folktales in which a traveler finds an old house where he spends the night. When he finally makes it to town, he finds that the house burned to the ground many years ago. I think Myrick and Sanchez were inspired by these folktales.
I went on holiday to Center Parcs at the beginning of October and I was going back to the house after bowling at about 10PM and it was pitch black in the woods and I kept hearing noises and I encouraged myself to run faster.
@Madgefilmsinc2 well you can make a joke about it but the parents have never found their kids again ,i have the book and its shows that the special detective who didnt believe in it ,just like you became scared in the fact of the stories off the project you can see that he couldnt let it go,so take a better look at the whole story and come then with your home made shit!thank you;-)
Now I'm never going to the woods at night!
