Should ditch the 4-seam and throw a sinker. might drop down to low 90's but it would force him to work down in the zone. 95-96 w/o movement is easier to hit than 90 with 4 or 5 inches of sink... just saying

did he even throw one strike in any of those at bats. all balls that were hittable, the guys turned on and pulled it. everything else was a mile high and outside. throwing ched with no control only works at the amateur level. even college ball hitters have enough plate discipline to lay off that weak shit.

It doesnt matter how hard you throw, if its straight they'll smoke it consistently. And as you can see they were rocking his fastball. But if he throws more off speed pitches to get them off balance, then he can start blazing that hard fastball right by the hitters. Then they'll be like "What the heck is coming next?"
