@pprruti I think in that situation its more of a wry grin cause he knows the point will do him no good in the end since TB still has 5 game points after that....
Mizutani has improved both his serves and his counter hitting game, but he still lacks power and a little bit of imagination... You cant beat TB by making him miss a topspin rally, that´s what his game is all about... you should try to move him, open the ball to the sides, take the initiative, blocking, etc...
do you guys notice anything weird about timo's service? like in 3:21 it's like pulling back his hand or something, anyway just noting some random stuff there. but i saw it appear at time throughout the match as well. Just to let you guys keep that at the back of your minds! xD
the winner in singles got 20,000 USD, the runner-up 10,000 USD. The highest prize money on the pro tour is for the grand finals where the winner gets 40,000USD. You can find the detailed prize money distribution on the ittf site.
thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it just shows how less popular ping pong is compared to Tennis for example. The tennis champions win 1.5 million on grand slams, which is just about 40 times the 40,000 dollars that the ping pong champions win on grand finals.
2:06 scared me....

Mizutani fukin sucks as well as the Japanese my family and I hate them, they have no regard for the environment.

@wil9612 I believe he was looking to hit a switch hit, in which he will change the paddle from his left hand to right, but the JAP missed the table.

Was zur Hölle hat Boll mit seiner Rückhand gemacht ? Solche Topspins sind einfach genial vor einem Monat hat er mit der RH viel passiver gespielt ;)
casioet 1 year ago
@casioet Hat was mit Fitness zu tun.
Er kann die Rückhand ja nicht erst seit heute, aber er muss körperlich fit sein, um sie so gut zu spielen!
