  • @saoirse632: you do realise that people from all over the world can see what you're writing to tourists that got ripped off in your country. Is it too hard to imagine that people don't spend thousands of EUR/GBP/USD and precious vacations just to be miserable somewhere? I mean, good lord, if people are telling you that they weren't happy with the hospitality / services they got, wake the f*ck up, tourism is one of the few things still bringing money into Ireland... other than IMF loans.

  • I love this, it's just a shame they don't list where the shots are from the video - I want to know where to see some of these sections of the country.

  • name of first song from start to 1:40? please someone let me know

  • @superhornet69 PS - I get on grand with English people and they get on grand with me. We have banter but it's all in good fun. That's the part you don't seem to get.

  • I don't like obnoxious people either. This behavior in Europe of 'kicking the Americans in the crotch' has become a bullying pastime. I am Irish and I find this beneath our culture and our hospitality..it is what we are know for...plus most

'Americans' who come to Ireland ARE of Irish decent. I state that all those Irish who participate in this are 'Obnoxious Irish' of which we have OUR fair share. It is neither cheeky nor quick witted to participate in being a bully. I

  • I don't like any obnoxious people...that's why they are called 'obnoxious'. The game of 'kick the American's in the crotch' has become a European pastime...although if you want to be honest with yourself...wouldn't that be obnoxious Irish behavior.....as I am Irish..and I find those who play that game beneath our culture and our hospitality...it is what we are KNOWN for. For thousands of years we have been both cheeky, witty and quick. It is neither witty or quick to use this behavior.

  • @superhornet69 I'm certainly not saying all Americans are obnoxious, I'm saying a lot of people don't like Americans who are. And if you're the type to say 'I don't want to have to go to Ireland and beat someone up coz they say something I don't like', you probably should give travel a miss in general. The Irish like a bit of banter, not unlike the English, Scottish, Welsh and Australians.

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Because I like Dublin I don't know life? Are you for real? I'm pretty well-travelled and have lived in 4 countries. Ireland was one of those and I loved my time in Dublin. I also love Reykjavik and Nîmes and Sydney and Monaco and Venice. If you can't find fun in Dublin you must be too busy navel gazing! The people are brilliant.

  • Dublin has to be the most boring and morbid town in the world and people who live there just dont know life or there own self-worth its like a prison because almost every bar and food-store has arrogant polish security gaurds on them and everybody judges you for simple things like the way you dress acked behave walk and talk its SICK get the fuck out and live your life . You cannot exspress your true self in Dublin because the culture is so exstremley different to everywhere

  • @OBAMAisHalfCaste Dublin is an amazing city, great fun and the people are brilliant. If you couldn't manage to have a good time there, it must have been your own doing! I adore Dublin and had a ball there.

  • @melissakp81 well then if that was so then you,re also one of the people out their who just does not know life or have any ambistion for entertainment because dublin is very boring

  • Sooo Beautiful!!!!!

  • The great island, Ireland, is shown to us in the most bautifull way;-) Love from Denmark

  • @flottestelotte lazy fucking thick irish sroungers, oliver cromwell new what to do with the irish...

  • @19331937100 Ah yes... Oliver Cromwell... he had the same ideas of what to do with the Irish as Hitler had to do with the Jews.

    Twat.

  • Boru: youre totally right

  • To super: everyone can fight when they're drunk. The first thing is that im irish and i dont drink

  • Can anyone tell me is it really true that a lot of the Irish love to get in fights, especially with Americans? I have heard that they can be real assholes when they are drunk and I would hate to go over there and kick some poor Irishman's ass because he got in my face just because I am American. I have heard they love to pick fights with tourists but is that just a rumor or what is the deal? I am 6'0 ft. 250 lbs. and I would really hate to have to hurt any Irish people while I am over there.

  • @superhornet69 you are an idiot

  • @superhornet69 You should probably stay home if that's your attitude to travelling. Especially if you want to kick everyone's ass who doesn't like obnoxious Americans. You could be quite busy the world over.

The Irish have a cheeky sense of humour... they might give a bit of lip but they can take it as well as they give it.

Still, it's their country so I'd say you'd best put up and shut up, or just don't go!

  • @melissakp81 ...That's really ironic you calling us obnoxious Americans considering we supply a hell of a lot of tourist dollars to you guys . How would you like it if we all just stopped going down there? Besides, there are a lot of Brits who don't exactly hold you Aussies in very high regard, which you guys have brought on yourselves by being jerks to the Brits, so you really have no room to talk. Yeah, it's crappy the way they treated you back in the day, but that was the past...get over it!

  • WATCH OUT FOR THE SHEEEP SHAGGERS.

  • @Celtic8781 Think you got that mixed up with Wales.

  • wonderfull country! greatings from Greece

  • I live in one of the most historic towns in Drogheda Im out of class now wooooo this was a random comment

  • why do these videos make us out to be 'little country folk'? why dont they show some fights and people diffin haha, as well as the gardai being corrupt..

  • Check 2:47...Is that Bosco Hogan (Ballykissangel dude)...I think he played the village doctor?

  • Better than fucking gay Canada where I live. Stupid Labrador and Newfoundland commercials with their Ireland rip offs due to colonization. I love Europe, I'm sick and tired of hearing on how nice the new world is and all its tropical and exotic destinations. Europe got history and (in my opinion) I'm more attracted to the mysterious Irish and European forests than my own country. If only my ancestors didn't move from France and Ireland. Oh....The shame....

  • ciekawe gdzie jest deszcz:)

  • I dont want to hijack this thread but im Irish born and breed and have made a website for a university project. Its showcases places in Ireland that are recommended by local people and are not as well know outside certain areas. The website is by no mean perfect but if you are for the NW of Ireland be sure to take a look and leave a comment...

THE WEB ADDRESS CAN BE FOUND ON MY PROFILE. Please take a look its not a pop up ridden site, just something simple to help people enjoy their time in Eire

  • Be very careful of the tinkers they will steal your last penny call them tinkers knackers or shanty Irish dirtbags

  • wow this whole advert is bullshit

  • :( miss it soooo much ♥

  • IRELANDS IMMIGRATION FAR HIGHER THAN STATED

Trade Unions challenged the accuracy of immigration figures in Sept. 2007. ICTU said the census(2006) count of 11,000 Chinese in Irl was far short of the 100,000 observers said are actually here. The census said 63,000 Poles, the Polish embassy said the real number was as high as 200,000.

    source:Sunday Times 2/09/09

10 times the number of Chinese, 3.5 times the number of Poles, how many more Africans, Pakistanis etc, are here above what is stated?

  • Whatever country that is I want to fucking be there! oh wait........

  • @69thetwirlwithin69 Yeah and pigs can fly

  • @LogInForPaper Then why are you on this video? If you really hate this country then find something better to do! Seriously why would you want to watch an 8 minute video about a country you hate? Just to moan about it? Wow you seriously need to get a life! And anyone who thinks that about ireland doesn't know the real Ireland. I don't care what 'sights' you've seen, you clearly haven a clue about it, but i suppose you are entitled to your opinion...

  • 10,000 IMMIGRANTS WORK IN IRELAND USING FALSE STUDENT VISAS

Bogus non-EU immigrants sign on as students then slip away to take up jobs. Others overstay their visas to allow them secure work by enrolling in fake courses every year to allow them continued access to Irish jobs.

    Irish Independent 12/2/10

(If they are here long enough they can stay for good)

This does not include immigrants here on real student visas or on legal work permits or here working illegally. How many 10s of 1000s is that?

  • @waaeaa

    So.

  • ireland is cool they gave the world lucky charms and they invented extreme scootering and ninja robots, guiness beer is great

  • @dMaN42108,Republic of Ireland does not have 29 counties. Dublin abolished? 4 counties, yeah? Why the fuck are there not 4 different dublin GAA teams you twat. According to you the whole island of Ireland has 35 counties. I wouldn't be so annoyed if you didn't start a comment with "im actually shocked by your ignorance" and ending the comment with a condescending "get it right". In fact, in that very sentence you say " 'republic of ireland' refers to the country with 26 counties" You're a moron

  • there are not 29 counties in the republic of ireland. there are 26. dublin is still one county you eejit. nothern ireland consists of 6 counties. 32 - 6 = 26. discover ireland does not include nothern ireland, because they are under british rule. go on their website if you want, and count how many counties they include. not 29, or 32. it's 26.

  • (republic of) Ireland actually has 29 counties...

  • @dMaN42108

if you think Fingal is a county then you are really stupid.

  • @dMaN42108 LMFAO ;D

  • It's not even like this , Ireland has lost most of its culture sadly to a major influx of eastern europeans sad :(

  • Argh, I hate you guys. You make me want to go back to Ireland. :-)))

  • the weather musta been mighty for capturing this footage!! cant remember the lst time we had that kinda weather

    :P

  • haha true :P

  • @johnwrya don't know what part of ireland you live in, bt we actually have good weather alot of the time here!!!!

  • @johnwrya the weather does be grand in the summer

  • So green I can't help but want to visit.

  • redbeard6666

your wrong man ireland refers to the whole island

    :P

  • ireland looks grate. hope to visit it one day.

  • best country in the world

  • Ireland, North and South is one country, but two seperate juristictions. Seperate states can exist within one country.

  • @mister18cm Nope, it's not. The North isn't part of the country Ireland (or Eire) established under the 1937 Constitution (Bunreacht na hEireann) nor does Ireland (or Eire) claim that the North is part of Ireland.

  • my country !!!! and what a fuckin country it is

  • im half irish and i have never been to ireland. im planning to go this summer tho!

  • if you go to ireland make sure you have lots of money ..hotels and eating out is over priced and a lot of hotels are low rate take one star of the hotels ir 4 star is 3 star ...etc apart from that is a lovey place

  • That's it, discover Ireland!

Discover Guiness, Shamrocks, David Healy, Leprechauns, The Potato Famine, Irish Stew and Magners.

And if your lucky, in your visit you might get caught up in the troubles and end up with a bottle of cider wrapped round your head.

  • @Critchy39 Yeah they might , if they had a fucking time machine!...fool

  • i'm a tennesseean! ireland is one of my favorite countries! the beauty, the music and the people! i hope to visit ireland in the future!

  • Go look at this video......

"History Of The Bosnian Muslim Nazi 13th SS Handzar Division"

It's all about the Arab Muslims who supported Hitler.

  • News Flash.. Hitler was part Zionist Jew. Arabs & Jews are Cousins. The Turks & Albanians are Muslims, they supported Hitler in WW2. You are all the same parasite shit. Ireland owes none you you scum anything. Get Out of Our Land.

  • Can you believe Hitler wanted to set up military bases in Ireland.

  • ya man i know !! aparently though acording to history books hitler thought it would be too costly to take ireland as at the time one irish soldier was as good as ten german soldiers due to the fact the the ira were trained in guerilla warfare !!!

  • A sign said Belfast. Which leadse to believe that not all of the video is real Ireland.

  • @Lxan96dr Belfast is Ireland!

  • Well northern Ireland. Not Ireland. Completely different country.

  • @Lxan96dr Northern ireland isn't a country its apart of ireland.. thats like saying scotland is england when it is scotland! the north of ireland is ruled by britain! its still part of ireland

  • I mean they're all Brits there. Although a large percent are true Irish. Btw 26+6=1. I really do hope they break away from Britain.

  • Well.. the protestants in north of ireland think they are british.. I really hope too that we get a free ireland, but the protestants won't like it, it would be world war 3.. but we could get a free ireland but there are more protestants living in NI than catholics and the protestants will vote to stay part of britain.. so catholics s=don't even get a say in the matter!

  • So. If the majority are HAPPY being British, leave them alone.

And religion is all bullshit anyway.

  • But it's still part of Britain...Scotland is Scotland but it's still BRITAIN....

  • @ShitMovies2000 yeah but not really though

  • No, but yes really, it's part of Britain, it doesn't matter how many thumbs down people give me for stating a world wide known fact.

We may not like it but it's just the way it is. For now.

  • @ShitMovies2000 only northern ireland is part of britain they dont own it all only 6 counties

  • The country "Ireland" is the 26 counties. Northern Ireland isn't part of the country "Ireland". It is however part of the island of Ireland

  • no the country 'The Republic of Ireland' is the 26 counties. Northern Ireland is a separate state. 'Ireland' refers to the whole island.

  • @6shang7 no, there is no country called "The Republic of Ireland". There is a football team called that but there is no country called that... The country you are referring to is in fact officially called "Ireland" or "Eire". It includes 26 counties... I know, i study constitutional law in Ireland!

  • learn something new every day..

  • Tourism Ireland as an organisation is responsible for the promotion of all of Ireland internationally both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. While constitutionally the term ''Republic of Ireland'' is not in the constitution it is the term most commonly used to refer to area that make up the 26 counties. It can be confusing......

  • @redbeard6666 Ireland refers to the hole island of Ireland .. duh get an education

  • @brandonlovesmonkeys I love how managed to misspell whole and then went on to tell me that I needed to go get an education. Lol... And I am getting an education and it is that very same education that has taught me that there is a country officially called Ireland which consists of 26 counties and its capital in Dublin. Therefore the term Ireland actually refers to the country of Ireland not the island.

  • @redbeard6666

im actually shocked by your ignorance

    "ireland" refers to the island

"republic of ireland" refers to the country with 26 counties and dublin as it's capital...

    get it right ;)

  • @redbeard6666

im actually shocked by your ignorance for somebody whos studies constitutional law in ireland....

Whilst Ireland is the official name of what we describe as the republic of Ireland. "Ireland" also refers to the whole island..and btw.. "Eire" has 29 counties not 26 ... Co. Dublin was abolished and divided into Dublin City, South Dublin County, dun laoighre rathdown county and fingal county ...

    get it right ;)

  • @dMaN42108 yes, 29, that is perfectly right LMAO! haha. There county councils (a whole diff argument)... and the "Island of Ireland" refers to the ISLAND OF IRELAND, so perhaps it is you who should get it right :)

  • @dMaN42108 nd really we're just getting caught up in pedantics here.

  • @dMaN42108 ok if u were right thats 30 countys (26 - dublin = 25 +dublin ciy South Dublin County, dun laoighre rathdown county and fingal county ) you are confused, there is 29 administrive county councils, but still 26 counties.

  • @k98markim

how about Tipperary North and South county councils.

  • @LogInForPaper dont know, but dman42108 thinks there is 29 counties. i know there is more administrive councils than countys.

  • @dMaN42108 Actually no it wasn't! Jesus are you even from Ireland? Because you have no idea what you're talking about! éire (or by the way when you're using it in that tense you're supposed to say 'éireann', just fyi) officially consists of 32 counties, whereas stáit na héirinn has 26. You're thinking of county councils you eejit! :)

get it right ;) Because I'm 'actually shocked by your ignorance'! (and your arrogance by the way!)

  • @6shang7

"The name of the State is Éire, or, in the English language, Ireland." - Article 4, Consitution of Ireland. 'Republic of Ireland' refers unofficially to the 26 counties known officially as 'Éire' or 'Ireland'. Go to the Consitution of Ireland and research.

  • @6shang7 The 'repblic of Ireland' describes the state while it's actually called Ireland and the island is also called Ireland

  • @6shang7 There is no country called 'The Republic of Ireland'. The official title is 'Ireland'.
