This store is not fingerprinting jewelry they are buying which it is a STATE Law that they have to fingerprint and ID every person the buy from and all pieces are written up individually. One ticket one item. These tickets go to local police depts and then are cross referenced with stolen property reports for 30 days as they are held. If they come back not stolen then you are free to scrap them, sell them, whatever. If they come back stolen than the victim gets their item back.
