Here we do the lines at 1.60m well... abou 63" from each line...
I see this machine too large, how you do ? U do the same distance in line, but the "pick" of the machine pick 2 lines at time? It seem huge in the video.
@TheBrassHole You will never see any of these in the store. Almost all are made into paste immediately after picking, the rest become canned stewed or diced tomatoes.
These are processing tomatoes is why they are able to be picked mechanically. Processing tomatoes have a thicker skin compared to fresh market so the picker can handle them.
Yes and No- these are process tomatos. They are thicker skinned than the fresh-table type tomato. Its not a huge deal, i believe if they break ope, because these are used to make tomato paste products.
dont matter if the tomatoes bust open they will eventually get turned into paste but before that happens first the load is weighed then its graded to make sure the load meets state standards and then the load gets parked were a yard got or shuttle truck picks up the load and transfers over to get unloaded were the tomatoes get washed and cleaned and sterilized and then turned into paste in which by that time huntz or hienz companies have already bought the paste to make ketchup
Most Americans wont work any kind of job, they want life easy. Thats why there is so much unemployment in the US. Not Mexicans though, because no matter how back breaking a job can be, we will do it. You'll never see us laying on newspaper on the sidewalk. We work hard to have a home, we work hard to support our famlies, we work hard to get what we want, we work hard to stay alive, we work hard, because life will never be easy.
tomato transplants start in march and tomato harvest starts in july and ends around september depending on how good the season is i have worked as a truck driver for antonini fruit express for 3 years transporting bulk tomato from mettler ca,and dos palos ca to a cannery in huron ca we also take tomato to a cannery in modesto ca the harvester you see is a johnson harvester and the traliers i think belong to a company called jbc, or cartel one of them 2
