those poor kittys! first of all, if you choose to bathe your kittens DON'T DO IT IN THE SINK with running water! not only will they scratch the crap out of your hands, but you will TRAUMATIZE them for life. Use a wet cloth, or a bucket.. it's a cat for goodness sake! & why would you pour water all over their faces? don't get me started on the hairdryer, all you need is a towel and then leave them be, they love to lick themselves clean. good luck if this is your test before kids -_-
Ohhh my god!!! I had 3 cats in my life and only wash two of them once with baby wipes because they got fleas, and for preventing infections on their skins (they were rescued from a wood) and never did it again. Cats don't need to take baths!!! :(((( It really hurts my heart to see people bathing the cats :(
Oh man....don't ever wash a cats head under a running tap like that ever again! It's alright to wash a cat, but be careful with its head! Don't get any water especially in its ears, bcos they can't get it out and it'll cos infections. Next time just use a wet towel to clean the head and face.~~ I'm ragdoll owner too
Cats in the wild cope without having to be washed or have kitty condos, i am a firm beleiver, as a cat breeder, that a healthy cat is a cat that is allowed to have his own smells, not human imposed ones.
@missbehaven25 i 25% agree with you its ok to give cats baths you need to if you are going to show them in a show but is not ok to wash their faces or ears the blowdryer is ok if it is far eoughph away from the cat
I actually found this video really mean. Cats don't need baths, they self clean and these kittens sure didn't look like they needed a bath and putting their whole head/face in the water is just dangerous, then the blow dryer....i had to stop the vid at that point.....just down right cruel and NOT NECESSARY!!!
ragdolls dont need a bath because ragdolls cleans themself . i know it because my ragdoll does it . and if you look on internet you see that they dont need a bath
our lil ragdoll has started to go sit in the bathtub and until I go and wash him with water :) but unlike your kitties, he is very scared of the blow dryer so normally I just dry him with towel which he loves
Please don't keep blowing hot air in the same place, the cat's skin is very sensitive and will get hurt. Vary blowing direction frequently like you do your hair.
How can you do that? My 3-mth-old ragdoll hates bathing. Even I poured just a little bit of lukewarm water on her feet, she cried and strugged to leave.
man why are they sooooo good at making us feel guilty when we give them baths? I do have a tip if you'd like to hear it. It sounds weird but my cat seems to have a much easier time when I sit in the bathtub with him when we gve him a bath. Weird I know but it lets me hold him which seems to calm him down a lot. He also prefers it when we dump little cups of water over him instead of putting him under the faucet.
