@brianke82 first water pollution is an issue in every major city around the world, u want to go to a nice beach u will have to go to a small secluded island in the tropics. California/Westcoast would be cheaper for you to visit and have the same experiance as in spain. great Enviornments, Natural settings, Urban/Night Life, great food. u can experiance the Desert,Mountains, Beaches, Forest, Farmland, Metro Cities, just in California. hope this helps a bit.

LA is great, don't get me wrong, but it's also REALLY expensive to live here if you don't want to live in a crappy neighborhood. Other than that, it's beautiful: amazing weather, nice people-for the most part-good schools and just a lot of fun. :)

Us Americans don't have the luxury of going to all those great countries, because traveling to france from the u.k would be as long of a trip if i were to fly to new york city... Canada along with Australia are best off for now, whereas for the rest of the world (such as Greece) is fucked. You're right, I agree, every place has its pro's and con's.

I don't like North America at all, the people are poor, the corporations run everything, high crime rates, ugly scenery (at least where I have been).. anyways, the point is, your city also sucks, especially because of all the gangs, drugs, celebrities, homeless... etc. LA is heaven for the rich, and hell for the poor.
