Wait... if you're referring to that commercial with the guy stripping at the airport after eating some gum then you're totally mistaken about it. The whole bit was supposed to be FUNNY not sexy! They weren't using sex to sell the gum, they were using comedy. I'm not defending the tag/axe commercials, though... they really are using sex to sell their product, although they do exaggerate it a bit for comedic effect, the message is still the same.

We're glad to see many of you like the video and also hate the selling of sex for every product under the sun. We tried this same video out over on meta cafe and people seemed to think it was a real ad. Thanks for the comments.

haha i like this commercial. cuz it makes fun of all those "sex ad gum commercials" proving that if u eat that gum.. or wear axe or w/e. NOTHING like stuff in the commercials is going to happen -_-

Ever watched that Dentyne Fire commercial? Or was it Dentyne Inferno.. No clue. But I guess they can put sex in any ad.. I just don't know if it actually boosts sales.
